Both are about Fairy Tales rewritten with beautiful drawings. =]

Besides from being the same author, both the stories have incorporated some fairy tales into the main story, and most of the time it ends tragically or violently.

They both have very eerie and dark plots.

Both of these are slightly comedic takes on fairy tales. With a lot of characters playing none typical roles of a fairy tale story. Such as the evil witch being the main character or the prince being vain and narcissistic. Ludwig Revolution is bit darker then Little Witch's Diary though. Both feature some very nice clean art work.

Both Keima and Louis are incredibly intelligent, sharp-tongued weirdoes who are almost always on top of the situation. This also makes the amusingly arrogant, yet they have a surprising tender side to them. They also like to abuse their side kicks. Both stories are affectionate parodies of Dating Sims and Fairy Tales respectively.

Although these are two very different stories, they do emit the same kind of ominous feeling. Both are fairly high rated and rather disturbing horror stories. While Count D seems to have lots of very influential connections in the underworld, Ludwig is a flamboyant prince that has connections because of his royal blood. The settings are very different though. Petshop of Horrors is set in a Chinatown-building in Japan, while Ludwig Revolution is set in fairytale land where you'll meet Snowwhite, Red Little Riding Hood or Rapunzel. Both stories are definitely worth a shot!

Both are dark and twisted takes on traditional Grimm's Fairy Tales. Atrocious though is a modern day take on the tales where Ludwig has a light comedy flavor.

Although these are two very different stories, they do emit the same kind of ominous feeling. Both are fairly high rated and rather disturbing horror stories. While Count D is 'just' a human-hater and seems to be connected to several occasions of death, Ludwig is into necrophilia. The settings are very different though. Petshop of Horrors is set in Chinatown in America, while Ludwig Revolution is set in fairytale land where you'll meet Snowwhite, Red Little Riding Hood or Rapunzel. Both stories are definitely worth a shot!
