Manga: Koori no Mamono no Monogatari
The characters in both works start out as an unlikely pair—a powerful being and a (not quite) normal human. They are slightly older, very light BL fantasy adventure stories with many enjoyable side characters.

Manga: Komatta Toki ni wa Hoshi ni Kike
Both are long shounen-ai stories in which the romantic relationship between the main pair never becomes physical. The main couple is composed of a short, friendly, kindhearted person and a big, pessimistic, antisocial person with unusual family circumstances. It's about a partnership that balances itself out, as the antisocial person becomes the friendly person's protector.

They just... DO (resemble one another). Cheerful, lonely guy, kind of pairs up with a powerful, even more lonely and avoided guy, and influencing him to open his closed heart. :)

Manga: Moon Trick
Heartwarming series which the main characters are almost similar in their personalities and gives strong influence to the people around them whether it's the enemies or friends. Since both series were done by the same author/mangaka so the feel is not far different.

Manga: Asterisk
Are incredibly similar. By the same mangaka, so they have similar art and style. Have lots of "sensitive" guys, without being truly shounen-ai. In each, the inhabitants of a supernatural world (Jusenkai, the Angel World) come to Earth to hunt creatures of evil.
