Same author meaning the same artwork and style. Both manga are considered "smut" so expect naughty scenes. Both manga also contain a male protagonist often forceful and controlling but still always helps out the main heroine.

They both talk about sport, Judo, a girl who quit judo because she couldn't found love.

They both are smutty and pretty much has the same story line, though Ren-ai Shijo Shugi is more ecchi than Moe Kare.

both are quite smutty (although ren-ai seems to have more) but it doesn't ruin the romance aspect of they storyline

Both are for mature audiences. Both are focused around the main characters blossoming relationship & the hardships they have to overcome along the way. Both male main characters openly claim that the female main characters are their "toy".

Both manga are about childhood friends, who haven't talked to each other for a long time due to certain reasons, that form a master-slave relationship the next time they meet. Eventually, the relationship develops into a real one, but there are still people who are against their relationship or out for revenge.

-Lots of ecchi. -Forceful and perverted guy. -Complicated stories. -Girl is reluctant to be the guy's slave at first. -Lots of people try to come between them and steal the girl.

Both titles have a lot of sex and drama in it. Steamy scenes are good in both mangas and somehow are enjoyable in the same way. The art is simillar and I think main characters are more or less the same. Both protagonists are girls who are considered boyish (for different reasons but still) and their lovers are super horny all the time. They also love to tease them. Both fun to read and reather short.

Both have strongly-aspired martial arts main characters. Both male main characters propose challenges in order to win future closeness from the stubborn female main characters.

Readers are led to believe that the protagonists in both mangas have a genuine romance which is true and deep. Ren Ai is much more dramatic and presents the reader with the content at a full on speed, whereas Kare First Love has a great storyline also, but is extremely sentimental, and shows the point of view of many characters throughout. Kare First Love is exciting, and more toned down compared to Ren Ai which seems to be more focused on men having their way with one girl. Don't get me wrong, I love both mangas deeply but if you're looking for something more dramatic and  read more

I dunno about you guys... smut well, at least Bitter Virgin has a higher score compared to Renai Shijo Shugi, but I still feel bad after I finished both. probably why I find them both so similar

I think if you liked this you would also like Koukou Debut because the personalities of the characters are very strong and there are a lot of parts in this manga that will make you laugh. It's full of sillyness but will definitely make you feel better if you're down. Although, there is much less drama compared to Ren Ai.
