Acma:Game's basically gambling with high stakes at its core. Think Kaiji or Usugoi. The games are actually quite good, and the game's style reminds me of Kaiji. Deceptively simple games with a lot more dimension than luck when you consider the rules that are attached to the game.
The overarching plot's kind of a snooze, though. Most gambling series just focus on staying alive, getting out of debt, etc, but Acma:Game takes it one step further and has Oda be the CEO of a company, with the stakes of the world's political power at hand.
