Kabuki is a theme of these manga.

They both have boys who are kabuki actors, who fall in love. Although one falls for a teacher and the other a student like him self, I think they have the same base.

Two sweet and short stories by the same author.

These are both shoujo kabuki romance manga.

They are both about male actors who play roles in traditional opera and kabuki so it is similar though the countries are different. Both meet the girl outside the theatre and she is someone who is unfamiliar with their traditional society and world.

Both, Moe Kare!! and Backstage Prince are great manga. There is one guy at the start which the main girl character fell in love with a perfect guy in "coincidence" after a while we find out that theres "another guy" who also loves the main girl, and fights for her love. Both stories have a similar story but a different ending. ~recommended~

Both stories are about an ordinary, happy girl that manages to "tame" a guy with a temper. Both are really sweet, romantic, funny light reads and they have a similar feel to them.

Here are two more celebrity stories, Kaikan is more ecchi, but both are great stories with interesting strong/overbearing guys - stars who choose backstage girls

Backstage Prince is about a couple trying to stay together, but also hiding their relationship from the 'outside' world. Ryusei Horiuchi, a kabuki actor, and Akari, a girl who has any knowledge of the kabuki world, meet and fall in love with one another. As if the difficulty of keeping the relationship of the famous Ryusei from the media wasn't enough, Akari and Ryusei also has to deal with the disapproval of the relationship from his family. Although this series is significantly short (only 2 volumes as of now), it is defiantly worth checking out if your interested in this particular genre.

Although the stories are very different, both are very sweet, somewhat comic stories about a couple struggling within the show business world. Both are really good!

Two really great stories. Although the plots are very different, both have a very sweet, romantic plots with characters from the world of celebrities.

Another funny romance involving the show-biz world. Though the stories are very different.

The forbidden love twist is similar in both of these, the stories are different yet somewhat the same. They both have a rivalry between the two main characters to bump one or the other out of spin of their affections. They both have a grandfather (Wild Ones) or a father figure that doesn't quite see eye-to-eye. They're both really good! :)
