I read this manga before, my original rating was 9/10, but reading it again, I didn't find it as entertaining, with all the context from the other mangas. Previously I had only read ...Virgin Love and Playboy Amour. I knew then that they were connected, but I wasn't curious to look further.
As I was saying, re-reading it, I didn't think much of it. Ian and Manabu were okay. After all the things I read in the series their relationship seemed pretty tame and a little bland. That was until Kaoru showed up. Whenever he shows up in the mangas as a supporting character, he's
...
so mean! He mostly has good intentions, but he can really be super mean and I think he actually enjoys poking at others.
I can't say I like Ian and Manabu either. Their relationship started questionably and, another one, Ian is so bad at communicating. Manabu was so forward and actually let Ian know about what he feels while Ian expected Manabu to just know what he plans to do. Manabu was pretty bad too, making some questionable decisions.
So yeah, I am not a fan of this couple, I only got excited about them and and the plot only when secondary characters were involved. And yet I'm sure I wouldn't have been as excited if it would have been some character I wasn't familiar with. Needless to say the rating is going down.
I have to mention the art too, I wanted to say something on the last review as well, but I didn't. The art has definitely improved. It still is very similar to the first manga, but there aren't weird looking faces any more.
