Preliminary (Unknown/? chp)
This is only the second review ive ever written, so bear with me-
Story: 6. Honestly, this type of story is getting annoyingly common. VERY common. There's a battle school where people fight with their supernatural "powers"/a manifestation of their soul. The MC acts weak, but is actually stupidly strong, etc.

Characters: 8. Kurogane Ikki, the protagonist is your typical "people look down on me even though im stronger than them" character. Even after that's said, the delving into dealings with his family is more than enough to make up for it.
Stella is your typical princess heroine, but this time hates being labeled as a "prodigy".
There's ...

Pretty good main characters, ok side characters, the sex scene was ok I guess I dont know I busted a nut to it regardless. Ikkis power is kind of bullshit, but whatever its cool. Sara is good nut material. Edelweiss is probably the best but this series is never going to be translated past volume 9 so its kind of pointless to read unless you want to sit around waiting years for every volume to be translated.
Overall there's some pretty good nut material here. Or hentai haven but if youre here like me for good nut material you probably already knew that one.

Now that an anime adaptation is currently airing, first three volumes which it will cover calls for a review! Rakudai Kishi no Eiyuutan is a slightly mediocre light novel that actually manages to be a more enjoyable read than most of the other similar LNs with a "Magical High School" setting that has been written more than enough.

Story starts when our newest contender of the plot device "I'm secretly very strong" character archetype Kurogane Ikki becomes roommates with the eccentric himedere heroine Stella Vermillion. The presented fictional world is a place where magic is a part of science, and they intertwine together. You know, when ...

A light novel series that makes Harry Potter ashamed (IMO)

For people who know this light novel after watching the anime, trust me, the anime was very good if standing alone but it's just a 5 compared to the light novel which is a 10.

The story is very interesting based on a world where people can use magic and form a unique weapon from their souls called Device.
The characters are very well developed through 3 major arcs (there are many smaller arcs in these 3), the romance is also very interesting. I mean, how many light novels or novels out there have the 2 main ...

There is nothing hidden when it comes to this series. It's pretty basic, but it does what it tries to sufficiently. My main gripe, and the reason why I stopped reading it after 9 volumes, is that the unofficial translation is atrocious and significantly worsens around volume 9. I appreciate that someone applied their time and effort to accomplish such an endeavor as a fan translation, but the end result does not read well for native English speakers. I cannot attest to how accurate it is as I do not speak Japanese (obviously).

I enjoyed this series for what it was, and would have continued ...
