Manga: Liar x Liar
People pretending to be a completely different person because of love and family is the similarity here. These two mangas seem very different at first - Nicoichi is a gender bender about a cross dressing straight man and Liar Liar is a shoujo about a university girl who dresses as and pretends to be another person who is a high school girl - but the similarity is the extent these two go to to be someone else and how many lies and cover ups they have to do - to the point where you just want to shake them - as both have  read more

Manga: Fudanshism
Seinens about a guy who crossdresses. Ends up that the girl he has a crush on is friendly to his female side, but ignores his male side. (Fudan is about a highschooler who enters the fujoshi world, Nico is about an office-worker. Fudan is a lot more...edgy.)

It has the same feel to it. Plus the whole single father raising somebody else's child as their own.

Manga: Hotaru no Hikari
Not about a cross dresser but still an josei romantic comedies set in both public and private. Both have rather interesting premises and wacky, well developed cast. HnH is more of a conventional romance between a heterosexual couple.
