Both of these mangas have a very dark feeling and art style. They both involve a guy who seems normal at first but later on comes of as a complicated character. There is a girl in here who writes letters to the man just before she died.

Extremely well written (and shocking) pieces that focus on how crazy people can fuck someone's life up, once they truly put their minds to it.

Despite being one-shots, both these stories manage to pack a punch and have plot-twists that you do not see coming. Highly recommended for fans of the horror/thriller genres.

Both manga seem fairly lackluster when you read them the first time. But if you read them a few times, you'll see the details the mangaka added that you missed the first few times you read the manga. Both have a shocking/surprising twist, and fans of the psychological genre will surely enjoy these one-shots

This rec is for ch 1-2 of Aishiatteru Futari. Both these BL stories have a "whodunnit" angle to them where hints are given throughout, but you only get the answer after reading the stories several times

I'm not sure why... I just think these two have the same kind of "feeling" to them. They are both short stories, which are pretty psychological..

Both are mangas by Kaori Yuki, so you can expect great art, strong story, some level of cruelty towards characters and psychological plot. What else could you ask for? :) Die is oneshot which contains only about 16 pages, but it still has stronger story than most of extremely popular mangas. Zankoku na Douwa-tachi is collection of three oneshots. My personal favourite is Cruel Fairytales. I highly recommend them, as well as other masterpieces of Yuki-sama.

It is also a short series about people who are psychologically messed up.
