Though Abnormal-kei is a harem and Ana S. is not, both contain a healthy amount of abnormal, and oftentimes, murderous women that come in and out of the protagonist's lives. However, the protagonists couldn't be anymore different. Abnormal Kei's lead is an emotionless high school student that somehow manages to control all 7 members of his crazy harem. On the other hand, Ana S.'s lead is a pathetic, suicidal college age dropout who jumps at the opportunity of intimacy with women who all happen to be homicidal psychos in their own special way. It's a wonder how either are still alive.

Even if the titles and the stories are completely different, there is that same vibe you got from both. Especially from the main protagonists.

Abnormal-kei is a bit softer, but these two manga compete in the "sickest manga in the world" competition. Abnormal-kei is funny though, and more of a comedy.

Obsessive psychotic characters, Serial killings, Both have a girl that claims to have been the MC's "knight" in a previous life and swear to protect him

Both are Harem mangas involving very messed up women. Both also deconstruct core aspects of the Harem Genre. Mousugu Shinu Hito asks why the women would crowd around a guy, and Abnormal-kei Joshi asks what type of women would.

I don't want to explain something that useless to you guy, but I just want to recommend both of them are mustn't miss manga. Trust me.

In Criminale! and Abnormal-kei Joshi, MC's friends are actually abnormal people. If you like one of this kind of manga(Sadist, Yandere, Murder and etc), you must check it out.

Both contain overwhelming yanderes

Both main characters attract very clingy women, and the haremettes frequently threaten and bicker between themselves.

Your average ecchi harem school life manga, well-made story, great character design, huge variety of girls, mc being the gigachad. However, rather than a delightful and charming atmostphere, Abnormal_kei Joshi gives us a mysterious vibe with disturbing circumstances, misperceptions along within the plot. As the girls really are, "Abnormal"......

Atypical take on the harem genre, encorporating murders.

Twisted characters, murders, cool-headed high schooler MC

Weird sexual fetishes with a little murder on the side.

Both of these manga operate on a level of morality completely detached from the norm. For the main characters, things like murder are simply a facet of life. They're living in a world that would be unimaginable for their classmates and the people who've never seen that side of them. Something important to note, however, is the way they handle this. While Abnormal-kei Joshi rarely takes itself too seriously (though more recent material suggests this may be changing), Pupa does; the constant and unnecessary gore, for example, rarely adds to the story and can often feel forced. Either of these could be considered annoying, depending on  read more

Harem type situations follow the protagonists, but is it heaven or hell when the harems are filled with psychopaths, murderers, and the criminally insane? Let's also throw in yandere little sisters, what could go wrong?
