SynopsisWhen Tae Yeon Im finds out that the idol star that she's adored for ages is currently attending the same school as her identical cousin, Jung-Woo Im, she convinces her cuz to exploit their similitude and switch places, she will dress as him, attend his school and try to get close to her lover boy. And he will dress as her, attend her school and revel in its sea of babes. Or maybe he just likes wearing a skirt? The plan seems flawless until Tae learns of a bully named Ga-Wun Kim who likes to beat up on poor Jung-Woo. Meanwhile, Jung-Woo finds that being a woman might not be as thrilling as it seems. From Wikipedia on the volumes 2-5:
The second arc in the Kill Me, Kiss Me series spans the rest of the manhwa from volumes two through five, and has almost no connection with the first arc. The story now concentrates on the beautiful girl Que-Min Ghun, who although appearing innocent at first glance is actually incredibly strong. She attends the same school as Jung-Woo and after meeting him one day in the street, starts to develop a crush on him, going as far as trying to protect him from people like Ghoon-Hahm Che and his gang, the Yi Won. Eventually, Ghoon-Hahm offers an arrangement: in exchange for not beating up Jung-Woo, Que-Min will have to go out with the gang leader himself. Ghoon-Hahm and Que-Min start their forced relationship, and Que-Min finally gets Jung-Woo to remember her name and notice her.

Kill Me Kiss Me is your average cross-dress manhwa with a boyish female lead trying to get closer to a boy she likes. Along the way, she finds that acting as her cousin is rougher than really was and finds strength in herself to keep going.
Oh wait, no its not.
Right after the first volume the mangaka decides to throw away the 'side-story' and go into a romance between our original lead and another girl, love struck with our original heroine's identical cousin. The original plot might as well have been thrown away--or better: it should have been a one-shot.
The second arc is completely of irrelevant to the first. Because of the switch in views, character is almost pointless.
Our first lead is Tae, a girl, with girlish thoughts and ideas, but she is willing to act as her cousin and can though she isn't very strong, her bark does plenty for her femininity.
The second psuedo-lead is also a girl, a fangirl in every meaning of the term, and secretly a tough fighter.
This is not a manhwa where relationships blossom, there is no depth to show that. Instead its about the road getting there, making relationships that much more difficult to achieve rather than to work with them.
Overall, the second arc was left with a snooze and disappointment. While I would like to recommend this as a good read, only the first volume is great and the rest of them drag on a more cliche and pointless story. Read the first volume and the first volume only. read more

I didnt think Id actually like this manga, I had bought the 5 volumes 2nd hand for cheep and I read them all in 3 days time! I usually keep to shounen manga so this was something completely different. The story is mainly about girls that have a crush on the pretty boys and the boys fighting in gangs, to put it very bluntly. READ THIS MANGA ITS VERY ENTERTAINING! It's both fun for girls and for boys to read. It has it all, romance, comedy, fighting, genderconfusion and puppies~!
I think Im gonna check if I can get my hands on some more stuff like this,
Later,

Another love story that involves a girl crossdressing in order to get into an all boys school. In Kill Me Kiss Me, the main character switches places with an identical cousin to meet a male model and the story revolves around both of them in their new environment and the problems they encounter. While in Hana-Kimi, the main character enrolls in an overseas school to be closer to her athletic idol and ends up boarding in the same room with him <3 Both shoujo comedies.
Kill Me Kiss Me has a similar storyline: girl cross-dresses as boy to meet a guy she admires. The twist with this one is that the girl trades places with her male cousin. Always fun. :D

Each has a bit of gangs, girls disguised as guys, possesive male characters, the girl main character is good at fighting. He's Dedicated to Roses is more developed, but Kill Me, Kiss Me has two different stories. I really enjoyed both.
