Both manga are by Dowman Sayman, and they both delight the reader with bizarre, quirky, and often heartwarming occurrences.

Both of these are excellent short story collections with some connections between chapters (in Nickelodeon, some chapters get sequels and in Daidai there's a slight storyline going on involving a policeman and a girl who claims to be fighting aliens), filled with black comedy and dashes of surrealism.

Weird one shots where the bizarre collide with the mundane, in the most serious of manners.

If you enjoy reading bizarre one shots, then it wouldn't be a stretch to say you'd enjoy this recommendation.

Sometimes the story can make feel a little sad, but it's a good kind of sadness because  read more

Both manga feature several one shots that show us a wide variety of scenarios - right from the mundane to the bizarre. However, while Nick's focus is on giving bizarre situations a comedic approach, Fuan is out and out a horror manga.
