Synopsis

Although her life isn't exactly like a shoujo manga, Miku Ikenouchi's friends are convinced that it's pretty close. They say Miku is "doing well in the spring of her life"... Miku, on the other hand, is a bit skeptical. Sure, she has recently started dating a third year, has a decent part-time job, and her home life is peaceful. In fact, you could even say that Miku is content... but, maybe, too content?

Unfortunately, when she comes home Miku no longer has time to find out that her father has quit his job, and her parents are turning their home into a... boarding house? And, even worse, one of the new boarders is a guy from her school?! Miku is quickly going to find her peaceful days a distant memory from the past...

This manga has made me come into confusion. First of all, i don't really like how things go in this manga, so the best i could give is only 7/10. There are several dramas and it is quite painful to see how things go with the MC in this manga. So, i'm gonna give u a review here, but it will contain some spoiler so skip it if u want.

Story (8/10)
what i like in this manga is how the drama keeps the story interesting. It tells about unrequited love to a boy who already has a girlfriend. I like to read this kind of plot ...

If you think Sprout sounds like a clique shoujo manga, you're most likely right. The good thing about Sprout is that, despite the unoriginality, the enjoyment of this manga is pretty high.
The story seems a little unrealistic and the art was adequate at best. The place where this manga shines is in the relationship between the characters. The complexity that goes on between the two couples is more in depth than other shoujo mangas. I felt there was enough comical characters to not weigh down the entire series with all the drama that goes on.
Overall I feel Sprout is a good read ...

Mixed Feelings
If you're looking for romance with good development, this is not the manga to read. Although the story line is fresh, this manga continued to fall short of my expectations. If you need something to read in the meantime though, go for it.

There wasn't a character that was completely annoying or anything which is nice, but in my opinion the characters were just okay; every character was considerate in some way, always thinking and had their own qualities, but for some reason it just wasn't enough. To me the most interesting characters were prob the college, young adults of the manga boarding.
