Both center around dancing in a similar way, as it helps the characters grow and deal with issues, both directly and indirectly. They also deal with the same themes, and the feeling is similar when comparing the two.

Both Series about dance.

Both portray the path to change oneself. Face with bullying, violence, self hatred, mistakes, etc... multiple characters walk their way around the MC and find themselves. With lovely hints of romance, family love, pains and joy. Realistic characters and art. Suavely painful.

A slight drawback, a slight bit of sadness, a slight bit of hope and happiness. The protagonists of both the manga has something they are in the process of overcoming. The entry and the interactions of a third party that helped evolve the main characters towards their goal and their loved ones very much reminded me of the other manga.

Both shows are about growing up with romance as a subplot and heavy life drama. Tho in ReLIFE, the story is focusing more on the romantic relationship of the main characters for the 2nd half of the manga. Both also have a one-on-one romance (no triangle or other polygonal relationship). So they are a good read for people who like drama but don't like love triangle drama.

MC's both get into hobbies that they are initially hesitant to get into (Sakamichi - jazz, Tetsugaku - flamenco), both stories are about the small group of people they meet through said hobby and the relationships/friendships they get out of it. Both have a similar vibe being calm, personal dramas.

Both protags are quirky guys who dislike their lives and are struggling with suicidal thoughts. Their lives were changed by an encounter with a girl, and they want to better themselves for that girl. They both create a friend group as quirky as they are and give the group a goal to strive for. The main charm is that nobody in these manga are normal.

They both have: _ The main character used to play basketball at school. _ The emotional story about friendship, family bond, and may be love. _ The inspirational music story _ The special art ( I love ).

Both are encouraging and beautiful stories about outcasts and friendship with music as an important part of the character development.

Coming of age stories about high school students with subtle romance and quirky characters.

Both series are realistic with believable character interactions. Had a similar feel to them, with Tetsugaku Letra being the more light-hearted one. In both series the main character tries to overcome their troubles through a new hobby.

protag who initially practiced one sport, after an encounter begins to practice another. I-Revo is more shounen-typical despite having a female main character, while Letra straddles the bar with a more shoujo style of dealing with emotions and friendships. little bit of gender bending in both, Letra with the shoes and I-revo with her skating style and initial appearance. Letra has a bigger focus on relationships and the impact one has on the people around them as well as looking at things with a more realistic treatment. I-revo is a typical sports manga but for figure skating, with a girl who wants to reconnect with her femininity  read more

Great coming of age stories with excellent character development. The backstory and situations of many characters can be pretty depressing, especially for Oyasumi Punpun as it is a black comedy.

Both are dreamy and warm stories which handle their topics in a slice-of-life manner and have likeable, quirky characters and cute art.
