Manga: Utsuro no Hako to Zero no Maria
While HakoMari and Classmate, Kamiura Yuuka play out verrrrrry differently and deal with distinct themes, they are set up in incredibly similar ways. If you read the synopsis for Yuuka and then the one for HakoMari, you might very well confuse the two if you tried to pull one of these series out of your memory hours later. HakoMari is a lot better than Kamiura Yuuka and is given a lot more space to tell its story too, but Kamiura Yuuka shouldn't be discounted because of this. They are both unique, standout works, though Kamiura Yuuka has a tendency to give in to popular cliches  read more

Manga: Denpa Onna to Seishun Otoko
In both manga series, there is a strange girl who believes she is someone else and also develops strange ideas from her head. They think differently from other people. Both series features a main male protagonist who is normal but get dragged into the strange bond between them. However, their bond becomes amusing as the series progresses and in a way that becomes closer and closer. Both series has great artwork, a school life setting, drama, comedy, and even hints of romance here and there.

Manga: Angel Beats!: Heaven's Door
These two stories have a lively female main character who acts and thinks differently from everyone else, namely Yuri for AB! Heaven's Door and Yuuka for Classmate, Kamimura Yuuka wa Kou Itta. These two stories are set in a world where everything, especially people, is not really what it seems. These titles also have a male main character who has just started realizing the true nature of the world thanks to the eccentric female MC, who discovered the truth first.
