Both these manga are about a romance between a girl who's kind of a goody two-shoes and the standoff-ish class delinquent.

Both are shoujo romances with a misunderstood delinquent.

-The heroines are both class presidents and role model student types who somehow take an interest in the male lead who is an outcast/delinquent/misunderstood type. -Both heroines have the interest to help/take care of others and are kind but still firm. -Both have nice art and cute scenes; are typical shoujo but still have sweet, slice of life vibes. -Happy Life Hajimaru is more cliche but still cute I was reading Happy Life Hajimaru and was sad to see there were only two chapters out so I was glad to have found Hana-kun to Koisuru Watashi because it filled the void that I was craving after reading Happy Life  read more

Both male protagonists are considered delinquents, despite their personalities. While Hana-kun to Koisuru Watashi is more gentle, Kimi ni Koishite Ii desu ka shows the comedic side of romance and love in high school.

Romance comedy slice of life with a female delinquent in Yandere Kanojo is and male in Hana-kun is male. School settings and both could be labeled "Fast Romance" with Yandere focusing slightly more on the comedy and its seinen and Hana-Kun mostly on the romance and its shoujo.

Although the theme unrequited love plays out much longer in Strobe Edge... In Hana-kun its short lived....but the feeling of the story still remains. I think if you liked Strobe Edge's slow pace and anticipation for when realizations will form, and almost a sort of realistic feel to the characters emotions, they sort of collide in that aspect. You may or may not like one or the other but either way these two bring out the great feelings of hurt and true happiness that love brings.
