both have men as leading role who took part in in worlds of idol. and of course, "girls" as idol.

Both manga are about a boy's change into a girl, but in Fukigen Cinderella it's only for half a day. In Idol Pretender the protagonist turns into a girl by drinking some weird medicine which he wants to buy again, but it's incredible expensive. So he starts being an idol in order to earn money. He also meets his crush while work and gets closer to her. In Boku Girl the boy is turned into a girl by some evil being, so he can entertain it. He tries to hide it (only his BF knows)...

Both manga are gender bends where a guy suddenly turns into a girl, and how his life changes drastically bc of that.

Both are super cute manga with adorable art styles, often relying on comedy to show the romantic development between its leads. While one manga has a boy who dresses as a girl, the other has a boy who becomes a girl. But if you enjoyed one manga, you're sure to enjoy the other.

Adorable stories with moe art that focus on children of different genders, appearances and sexualities all of whom fall in love with each other discriminately. Even so, the main pair always remains the MC and his cross-dressing/gender-bent friend.

they are both gender change with ecchi the difference is that Idol Pretender is bigger and has more explanations

Both manga have two guy best friends, wherein one day one of them turns into a girl. What ensues are situations where the two of them are tested regarding their feelings for each other. Honestly tho, Kanojo is your regular sexist gender bender BS, while Idol P actually puts forward a beautiful message - "gender doesn't matter"

Both are cute stories with a moe art style, that focus on the confusing feelings a young boy develops for another boy, all the while having at least one girl around him who's interested in him romantically.

Both manga feature a cast full of interesting characters that drive the narrative and help deliver ecchi goodness.

The female lead Chinami in Idol Pretender is very similar to Nana from To Love-Ru. They are both cute tsunderes and they both like using the word "beast" a lot. Nana isn't featured enough in To Love-Ru. If you want more Nana, then check out the ecchi manga Idol Pretender.

Both are about a "manly" guy who accidently turns into a girl and is then faced with being together with his crush as a girl. However, Pretty girl has none of the ShowBiz-Stuff and has a more classical school life-story.
