SynopsisMiyu is an 8th grade student. Her parents went working in NASA and they left Miyu. For a moment, Miyu was sent to stay with her Uncle. The first day when Miyu arrive to her Uncle house, her uncle decide to go to India and left Miyu with his son, Kanata. First time, Miyu thought she will stay in her uncle house only with Kanata. STORY 10/10
Miyu, whose mom was chosen to be an astronaut, was sent to live with a boy named Kanata she just met. Amidst the panic, a mysterious UFO came and a baby and catlike alien from planet Otto land at their residence and Miyu and Kanata have to deal with them and their own problem each day. Meanwhile the relation ship between the 4 of them get closer...
This was actually the first Alien comes to Earth manga I actually read! so the story was pretty original in my eyes. The plot all flowed extremely well, with its comedy and twists of angst thrown in. The fact that Ruu was beyond cute and his story was very well put together. However, I think the ending was WAY too rushed. There could have been a lot more included about after the ending.
ART 10/10
The art is my favorite type of art, shoujo at its extreme. Big bright eyes, flowy outfits on the girls, lots of blushing and awesome expressions. Nothing more, nothing less. Its one of my favorite things about this manga. And the characters were drawn so well, they fit the personalities.
CHARACTERS 10/10
The characters were amazing. Miyu was your typical heroine, clumsy, shy and very stubborn. Kanata was of course, the main male, stubborn, rude and good at hiding his feelings. Add in a split personality rival, too good looking for his own sake dork, alien obsessed otaku, flying alien babies and a talking cat and youve got a whole selection of awesome characters. I really just wished they went further into who Ruu's parents actually were. EVERYONE reading it know they look exactly like Miyu and Kanata.
ENJOYMENT 10/10
If you get over the slow parts and small cliches, and the horribly rushed ending, you have a wonderful story with awesome characters. If all the chapters where out at once (Which I had to wait at least 2 months at a time) I would have read it all at once. It was THAT good. And I absolutly loved the pairing of Kanata/Miyu. The cuteness was overall adorable.
OVERALL 10/10
If you like the supernatural genre and love shoujo style art, this manga is for you. It may be a tiny bit cliche, but the characters make up for it! Give it a go, it may just end up being your favorite manga! read more

Both manga are comedies involving students forced to take care of a baby with supernatural powers.
well...d 1st time i read Beelzebub i kinda had a 'click' in my head...i start to wonder where had i seen this kind of manga before. After a couple of months later it finally came...its d the manga called Daa! Daa! Daa! a.k.a. UFO Baby...
At first glance they have nothing in common...but after u read it carefully the storyline is almost very much the same...Beelzebub is about a delinquent who suddenly had to babysit a baby - who is a demon lord's child and UFO baby - a boy and a girl who also found a baby - which is an alien from outer space - appeared out of nowhere and had babysit him....since then the caretakers had to go through many hardships and complicated things in life in order to successfully take care of the babies...

Similar plot by both have slow romance and take care baby. Also, both manga have cute baby!
