Hey - another one of those manga. One of those stories that I really liked for a short while, only to be jolted into the cold reality that it only has 28 chapters (or 15.1 chapters) and there haven't seemed to be any updates since last November....
When the animal tamer is left behind by his group to become minotaur food, he can't help but wonder why his group suddenly hates him. His only friend, his dog or battle wolf, protects him with his life - but even in death he does not abandon his master, so the wolf gets up again and continues to fight
...
for him as an undead. In the process, the animal tamer also suddenly becomes a necromancer....
What may sound like a rather generic "I was betrayed, therefore became cool and strong and now I take revenge" story, actually has more to it than it first appears. For example, our protagonist meets a female vampire who was once feared by humans and allies with her, also to show her that humans are not all evil. So while he adventures and saves more and more poor souls, his former comrades show their true colors again and plot in the background to murder him... within these 28 chapters the stage is set for a game of life and death, a tale of betrayal, intrigue and friendship that seems very generic in parts, but overall glows with potential. Only, unfortunately, there are only 28 chapters and it doesn't look like it will continue.
Accordingly, I am now disappointed and accordingly only 6 stars.
