He dedicated to Roses, it's summary might create an image in your head of a very dramatic and crappy series. That's what I initially thought, but still gave this manwha a shot. It's summary really doesn't live up to the series. This isn't a masterpiece of anything, but certainly better than the summary.

Story: (7)
Not the most original, very much like a Cinderella story to be honest. But this Cinderella story has so many plot twists, which make up for the "poor-girl servant" story we have to deal with. I found the story enjoyable, if a little bit too dramatic in some points. Even with the ...

The only stories I ever feel like I want to write a review for are stories that really grasp my attention and make me want to read over and over again. So as you can see I really like this story so far.
I think the summary given doesn't give the story justice, and also makes it look like just another love story, but the plot is a lot more complicated so i will give you a better one without giving away the whole story.
BY school day Choi Ida plays a regular school girl who plays maid to the daughter of a couple who her family ...

One day, as I scrolled down Mangafox's home page, I took a quick glance at the "most popular manga" sidebar to see if there were any prospective reads out there. Funnily enough, one title I've never heard of topped the ever-so-popular Naruto, and I clicked its name, hoping I would find a glimmering jewel amongst the lackluster rubbish I've attempted to read. Its name: He Dedicated to Roses.

I should have known better. What I found was worse than rubbish; not only did it not shine, but it also shoved itself in my eyes, blinding me in all its horrific glory. In contrast to the ...

Do you like Cinderella? Do you like gender swap? Do you like drama? Do you like relationship angst everywhere? Do you like jokes?

You probably like at least one of those things. This story has all of those. But it's executed terribly. So don't read it. (By the way, this is going to be a long review because I find a lot of fault with this.)

Story: Poor. 3.

The IDEA is that the main character is a plain girl. But when she's dressed as a boy, she's cute. And guess what she does from time to time (I mean other than has feminine problems)!

Right, she dresses ...

I started to read this manwha, as I recently joined the "Gender Bender/Gender Swapping" club. Generally I like mangas better than manhwas, but this peace really doesn't leave you disappointed.

Story (8):
The story is really good, although in some places it's predictable. The good point is that there aren't too much these typical situations where the persons real gender could be exposed. So it isn't too predictable.
The jokes are fine, but not excellent. But still funny.
The romance line is fine, I liked it.

Art (10):
The art is very good, I abolutely adore it! The girls are pretty with big eyes. And the boys are gorgeous, especially their ...

Story
The general setup is a girl who's forced to serve someone hateful because of her parents' debts. That may seem generic, but as usual Hwang Mi Ri really makes it her own. It's not the usual high school manga, where all the events are small and petty and all the villains turn out to be genuinely good people whom the heroine heals with her beautiful and forgiving spirit. The story is often funny, but also fairly dark; Mi Ri doesn't shy away from showing just how awful people can really be, which is way worse than you usually see in shoujo, and ...

Seriously WTH!

This is the reason why I drop shojo manhwas so fast! The girls are MENTAL! Do they not have any brains what so ever?!
This manhwa has rich people who are very shallow, who gets whatever they want whenever they want and will even kill who ever badmouths them.

Story: 4
Art: 2
Character: 4
Enjoyment: 5

It's very cinderella type kind of story but with a twist. That's what drew me into reading this manhwa in the first place. I even put up with the horrible drawing style. The backgrounds were cheap (yes, I do pay attention to backgrounds) and I haven't seen those kind of eyes ...

Thought this would be a typical shoujo series. It turned out to be a kick ass version of a somewhat Cinderella story. Basically a girl is forced into servitude for her family. She creates another image of herself to relieve her stress, a boy. Because of her boy side, she makes a lot of influential friends that eventually come to aid her.

Story 9/10: Thought it was a great story that had drama and made you want to root for her. Characters were explained well and the plot progressed nicely.

Art 8/10: It was really good, they didn't draw unnecessary scenes, like some shoujo, which I ...

I have been searching in onemanga site and found this one under the gender bender section. First of all I liked the idea of the main character acting like a boy, and what made me want to read the manga more is the art!!

Story:
The story is nice but at some point it gets boring when it come to that Mimi girl and her revenge. I mean come on! High school students can do all of this? I wonder.
I liked the main character Ida, and liked the fact that the guys fell for her which means looks isn't everything! nice story but the ending kind of ...

alright so first review ever, bear with me. I thought this manhwa was really fantastic overall although it did have some qualities that made it so-so.

Story: 6
The story had a unique touch to it because it wasn't like a typical fluffy shoujo manga but had darker elements. At points it was pretty predictable but there was also suspense that made it interesting (although overly exaggerated at points). It fell short with Choi Idas inability to stand up for herself throughout the entire story up until the very end when she finally makes a decision that could have been made about ...

To tell you the truth, when i read the synopsis of the story it didn't catch my interest. I always skip it when browsing for mangas to read. Out of curiosity for Korean manhwas, tried reading it. I became attached. The story is not out-of-the-ordinary. You can find the plot, characters and settings in other stories as well.

What made it an interesting read is that the main character caught my attention. Choi Ida depicted (for me) a girl of very strong personality which you could not say as bad or not even good. She is so strong ...

As a HMR story, the plot line was pretty typical--a girl dresses up as a guy and is good at fighting. The story is pretty good, up until the last few chapters, which led to a disappointing but completely predictable ending. Somehow I ended up rooting for one of the side characters (the guy who also likes the girl but is never liked back), something I've almost never done before. In other words? The main male lead (Gang Naru) was pretty flat, and his personality was boring. As a female lead though, Choi Ida was pretty good. Overall, if you're looking for ...

It's my first time writing a review so bare with me.

I came across this manga a few times and every time I read the synopsis of this manga, it never made excited about reading the series. I read a lot and I do mean a LOT of this kind of genre ( u know what I am talking about- gender bender, drama, romance) and I am glad I gave this manga another shot.=)

Story - 7
The story is about Choi Ida and her double life. Her parents are in debt to Mimi's parents, so to pay the debt Choi's parents pay the debt by serving Mimi's parents ...

He's Dedicated to Roses is a manhwa that I've been meaning to read for a long time now & I'm not disappointed one bit!

The description isn't even close defining how good it is, there's great moments of comedy, unexpected shocks & surprising moments where you're just awestruck!

Ida is an amazing character that is unbelievably natural & pretty believable & anyone who had ever tried to cross-dress can relate to her & Yodah {her alternate self} & it's half impossible to forget that Yodah is Ida while at the same time it's very possible to forget that Yodah is Ida!

Overall it's definitely worth reading & I ...
