Simple-minded protagonist gets themselves into power struggle and hierarchy of those who weild unnatural powers. He proceeds to beat through problems he encounters with pure raw strenght and carefree attitude.

Both have a main character that are comically overpowered, and both also have similar comedy. While mashle isn't as good as OPM, you'll probably get some enjoyment at least from it at least.

Both the main characters have insane physical strengths, so much so that both of them defy the logics of their world. Also the facial design of both the protagonists is quite same, Mash looks like a Saitama with hair, and both of their sense of humor is quite similar too.
Mashle and one punch man are quite similar in their way of comedy.
The setting of the 2 stories however is a little different. Mashle is set in a magic world, where OPM is set in a "regular world".

Both have the same kind of main character. Overpowered with just brute force strength alone, both are just ordinary people surrounded by people with real convictions and abilities. Instead of heros (like One punch-man) Mashle has a world with magic and a lot like Harry Potter!

Both of these are gag heavy shounen manga that rag on common shounen tropes in battle manga, the action is out of this world in both series with the MCs overwhelming everyone they face with relative ease. 

The overpowered MC trope leads to a lot of gags and funny moments between side characters and other cast members, but it's also a source of some of the more awesome fights that really get you hyped

Both have an overpowered, emotionless and blunt main character. Both series also use the main character's overwhelming strength for comedic purposes. Both main characters are also fitness lovers who got their strength through working out, despite being in a world filled with supernatural abilities.

main character is similar as saitama in terms of personality and also he has no powers only brute strength and poker face . world in mashle based on fantasy and magic almost as it as in one punch man

Both protagonists have physical strength well above human limits. They also both have really aloof personalities where they dont seem to care about many things. The gag comedy style of both mangas are also insanely similar.

Both stories contain a overpowered protagonist with top point comedy. Mashle has some good fights,(not on the level as one punch man) and the story is simple enough.

The premise at the beginning is similar in both stories:

- a guy enters a magic school with no magical powers.

What's fun in both series is that how they play around it. They have to be clever or really skilled in something else in return. Both are an amusing read.

Mob Psycho 100 addpermalink

You've got a protagonist similar to Mob or Saitama, but this time Mob has focused on body improvement rather than magic. Mashle has a premise similar to Black Clover where the protagonist has no magic at all, but trains hard and uses brute muscle strength to outdo powerful magic. It's also heavily influenced by Harry Potter and blurs the lines of being a gag manga and a serious fantasy shounen. Fans of Mob Psycho and One Punch Man are very likely to enjoy Mashle.

Both of these stories follow the misadventures of a magic-less protagonist as they use shear strength alone to punch their way through the magical worlds they inhabit which look down on them for their lack of magic. Both have a balls-to-the-wall sense of comedy and contain a gaggle of unique and memorable side characters that accompany the lovable muscleheaded MC. Neither story has a very large focus on plot but hints of it can be found. It should be noted that "Mashle" features a noticeably greater amount of plot compared to "Doryoku Shisugita Sekai Saikyou no Butouka wa, Mahou Sekai wo Yoyuu de Ikinuku".  Overall, if you are looking for a manga that is lighthearted with a surreal sense of humor, either of these would be a good read. read more

Main characters can't perform magic, even though they are enrolled in a magic school where everyone else can. Luckily, they have another power that is potent: Brute force (super power or swordman's skills).

Both of them aim for the top spot in the rankings, even if everyone thinks only mages will be able to reach it.

Both Mashle and GoH leans into shonen tropes heavily, but swing for the fences with every fight. The comedy for me was lacking in GoH, so Mashle scratches that itch. Also, Mash, the protagonist, is instantly lovable from chapter 1. The series is so bingable.

Both main characters, Mash and Tatsumi, do not recognise their strength and influence on people. They're pretty dumb outside of fighting and are respected and misunderstood by a lot of people which gets them into a lot of fights. They both attract the attention of their enemies who become friends or strange people who become close to the main character. Mash and Tastumi are unconsciously willing to do anything for their friends and put others in front of themselves. 

Both mangas have a strong main character with interesting side characters which makes them incredibly funny! I would recommend both mangas to anyone who enjoys a good action story with comedy. read more

Very much surprised these two don't have a reccomendation yet.

First up, the main characters. Mash and Kitano-kun. Mash and Kitano and generally presented in similar ways, very clumsy and misunderstood, awkward teenage boys who somehow always find themselves in trouble. 

There are differences, such as Mash having no problem with pounding someone's face meanwhile Kitano absolutely hating violence, but the similarities are there.

Next up the side cast, also rather similar. Guys who start of absolutely HATING mc but pretty soon realize that they are good friends actually.

One thing that I like more about Angel Densetsu is the female cast, as the female characters in Mashle are honestly just plain awful and/or annoying. Sadge.

Lastly the story...They are not alike at all, but they do have a very very similar tone. 

Both starting off as a pure comedy with maybe hints of seriousness but overall putting comedy first, later on though it starts focusing more on the fights and occasional drama. read more

Both have magic powers with lots of comedy moments and quirky characters. There’s also a school arc in magi later on which makes them even more similar.
