Seven delightful short stories that are tied by a few idiosyncratic characters. The title of this manga is truth in advertising because the people depicted in these anecdotes are incredibly captivating. Despite knowing so little about them, I couldn't help but just be amused by how distinctive they are. It is odd to think that the most typical setting in manga, middle/high school, is the stage for such refreshing writing. There is a certain Salinger-esque charm to how the stories are told and how intriguing the characters are. A quick and enjoyable read about interesting characters in loosely connected stories. I usually pick my manga entirely on art style and just like the title, it was captivating to look at. Even though it came out in 2019 it still has this older vibe to it which I really enjoy.
The one thing I don't like about this manga is that it ended. The manga is sort of split between two narratives. The first about a boy and his strange, but helpful interactions with his peers. The second has more of a plot with a guy who discovers his classmate isn't as he seems. ...

Story 8/10:
It just follows the life -more like situations in the life- of a certain weird highschool boy and his interactions with his classmates. The chapters aren't really connected, but the setting is mostly his highschool. Characters 9/10: The characters are all interesting and feel genuine. They have unique looks and personality for a 7 chapters manga. Art 10/10: The art is one of the most unique styles I've ever seen in a manga, it's 80~90ish with a more realistic touch.
