Okay so I'm normally a bit icky towards student x teacher relationships solely because they're mostly illegal, and the age gap is uncomfortable. I don't think that I knew Natori's age because I don't think it was specified! So I'm a bit icky since I don't know if he's in his late twenties or early thirties. But Natori's age aside, I have to say this story was so fleshed out I almost cried at the end. All of the characters present; especially Kaname, has flaws and I think that's why his character was so good. He was earnest and kind, yet he had an aloof

As far as student x teacher/age gap yaoi go, this is one of my tops. The age gap was handled professionally and realistically, which is typically difficult in these types of stories. I love that Kaname wasn’t too pushy and carefully considered his feelings and the effect they would have. I also like that Natori was respectful of Kaname, but I do wish there had been slightly more communication on his end.
One of my favorite things about this story is that both characters are gay from the bat. ([spoiler]Natori seems to only be out to his friend and to Kaname though, while Kaname is out ... |
