Both are written and drawn by Urusawa Naoki, and has the unique Urusawa feeling. They are both about a "mystery" of sorts, as well as a conspiracy that threatens the world. Billy Bat has some supernatural elements and is more of a historical manga set during the 50s-60s.

Suspense and thriller mangas created by the same author. Both's main character fight against an evil that is suposed to be bigger than themselves.

These two manga are about famous Americans and some events from the past. Both are violent, mysterious stories. Main characters are artists with talents given by guileful supernatural creatures. Both manga deal with racial discrimination.

Both of these manga have a storyline that centers around a certain symbol as the fates of multiple people intertwine. They are also made by the same author.

Both of these manga are metafiction. In both cases, the protagonist is the mangaka, and he can communicate with his manga character. Also, they both have to keep something bad from happening, as one of their manga characters starts to pose threat to the real world. Also, both of them are full of mystery. They are also similar in that they both have a sort of realistic art-style.

Both involve a supernatural being coming into the human world in the form of manuscript. The supernatural being causes mayhem throughout the world while it sits back and observes amusedly. Police, detectives, and government powers are all involved in pursuing the manuscript linked to the supernatural being. There is lots of mystery, suspense, and darkness. Both MCs are consumed with pressure, responsibility, and power which makes them descend to madness.

The protagonist gets dragged into a conspiracy and has to find out who is behind it and why, putting together pieces of puzzles. The arstyle is also similar, even though drawn by different authors.

Both of these were written, in part or completely, by Takashi Nagasaki. If you read Billy Bat and want to read a complex and multi-layered thriller that's ACTUALLY well-written, then kurokouchi is made for you !

These two manga are really similar: The plot's timeline spans over decades. There is a myriad of complex and multi-dimensional characters. Both series show realistic conflicts between powerful organizations with some supernatural elements. Both series capture attention and are very binge-friendly. Both series have a realistic art style and grasp of human psychology. Both manga also share a similar problem: the author decides to write more than one iteration of the hero's journey, introduce more characters, do a time-skip, and seems to have forgotten what was the charm of the first arcs. The finishing chapters leave the reader somewhat dissatisfied. Both are worth recommending to any  read more

Manga about mangakas. But, Billy Bat has a darker plot than Bakuman, and it's not about how the mangaka is going to be serialized.

Spirit Circle and Billy Bat delivers an unique story with many plot twists and characterization. The main characters are also gets themselves involved in unorthodox events that can potentially influence the future of their world. Some of the past also influences the story and fate connects certain characters.

Manga about a huge hidden plot where getting involved with it might save numerous lives but also endanger your own. Both manga have multiple protagonists and are inspired by certain historical periods. Both present a new point of view for Adolf Hitler's actions and add more twists to what supposedly happened during his reign.
