Both have ordinary girls that marry into royalty.

In both stories, the male leads are somewhat cool and unapproachable at first glance but fascinating as you learn more about them. One manhwa revolves around modern royalty, the other around historical gods and goddesses, but in both cases the female lead comes from an average, humble background and steps right into the center of the manpulation, deceit and relationship troubles surrounding their love interests. While BotWG is decidedly less lighthearted than Goong, they both have their merits, including beautiful artwork!

In both manhwas, there is little romance more than the actual, frustrating drama. All of the characters cannot be honest with themselves, it often leads to miscommunication. However, the few moments of romance along with the comedy scenes is well worth the mess. Also, Ellie/Chae-Gyung are extremely stubborn, and Ryder/Shin are quite famous, and often in the beginning feel like they're too good for their female counterparts.

Both series have the main characters go through an arranged marriage, on top of that the marriages have to do with royalty. Chae-Gyeong is much like Nakaba and vice-verus; both girls are confused about the feelings they have in their situation.

They are about arranged marriages, their art is amazing and also they both show ancient cultures.

The girl is forced to marry a guy of higher status in both mangas.

They both begin with a marriage without love that evolves into something more.

Uhmm let's see it has like a guy who always messes with and pisses off the girl, but he actually really starts to like her. It just feels really similar

even though they place in different ages, they are somewhat alike. in goong we see an engegement between the prince and a normal girl. in flower ring we also see an engegement. they are both engeged because of their parents' will and also there is also a third person who tries to break the two up.in addition the main character(the girl) decides to break up in order to save the reputation of her loved one and his family. they are historical and the romance is sometimes heartbreaking.in many ways they are alike...

In both of the mangas the main characters have to get marry because of an arrangement between the families.

Historical-ish, royal court, an ordinary but charismatic girl ends up at the court, with a handsome prince . . .

Both involve royalty and in each the female protagonist starts off as a commoner. Both are also funny and have nice art. Private Prince is just directed at older audiences as its quite smutty.

well it's not that similar but there sure are parts of it that remind me of Goong. i think they are both great. you should try this one too.

The stories are very different, but both are about royalty and what's it like to love one, though MeruPuri is much lighter and Goong has a lot more drama involved

The stories are very different, and Goong is a much more dramatic than FFA, but both have this alternative-world, epic feel to them

They tell the story of a rich, well-born boy and common girl who are bound to get married: in Goong it's because of a promise made by grandfathers, while in Pig Bride it's some kind of fate. Goong is w little bit more dramatic, but both are rather funny and nice to read.

Royal families and romance and triangles and an interesting, spunky female lead.
