Everyone always says to set high goals for oneself. Sei-Ann, an orphaned young lady who was raised in the care of a noblewoman, does just that when she decides she'll become the prince's bride. With above average looks and ambitions that would rival that of a king, Sei-Ann is determined to leave her social status behind and become the wife of the next Crown Prince. Ever since she was a child, she knew that she was somehow special and was meant to go places. And even if it meant enduring a marriage with the most hideous looking prince, she feels it would be a small price to pay to claim her fate as the First Lady of the kingdom.
The summary for A Kiss to the Prince sounded mildly interesting, so I decided to give it a try. One thing I can tell you right now: This series has great art!
One of the low-points of this series is the story. It's rather, well, over-used. The "plot twists" in it are also very over-used and not the most creative. In fact, the whole story itself is extremely predictable. From the beginning of the 1st volume I knew who would end up with whom and guessed fairly well at the ending of the manga.
What I would like to tell you right now is: KTP
has beautiful art. It is, in my opinion, the highest point in the series. While in some angles the character's faces looked awkward, everything else about it is rather well done. Dresses are beautiful, hair is gorgeous, and backgrounds are rather well-done!
Characters were rather irritating... Our main character is accused of stealing various times, yet people still trust her and say she's not that type of person! In fact, her attitude gives us quite the opposite idea, yet the author of this series obviously couldn't have a stealing protagonist! Everyone is, though, quite shallow and aren't given all that much development. I could name numerous other characters that are exactly like the cast of this Manwha, except they have different names and looks.
I didn't like the characters or the story all that much, but I loved the art. How the heck did that help my enjoyment? No idea! But I loved seeing each panel some of the covers and such...
This is pretty mediocre in everything, but quite exceptional in the art department. I would recommend this series more for those who are looking for good art or maybe to those that are in the mood for a series with mediocre romance and characters. If you're looking for a series with excellent romance and such, my suggestion is don't waste your time and go search for another title.
This was my 1st manga that I have ever read all of. I think it is absolutely amazing. When I stopped reading, all I wanted to do was go back to it. The art is absolutely captivating as well. It made me want to learn how to draw. I recommend this to any and all!! :D
THE ART IS AMAZING!!!!!! The story is actually really good too with a decent amount of twists and turns that keep things interesting and unlike most manga set in this day and age the plot isn't overly confusing. The characters and funny and sweet I really enjoyed reading it and I hope you do too.
Over all it was a good manga. Just by reading the plot you can tell there is a strong female role who has a goal in mind and she works hard to achieve. I really like how Sei-ann was so deternmind and kept following her dream. Also it's full of twists that really make you want to keep reading. there were never any particularaly dull moment's, it was just one of those manga's I couldn't put down until I was finished! I really enjoyed this manga and thinks its worth a read.
I thought that the art was really beautiful. The author did a great job
of showing off the victorian element of the manga in both the speech and the way the character and places looked. The art all fit in together very well and all followed the same theam.
I liked the characters. When the manga first begins we think of sertain characters as the exact opposite as what they really are and when their true identity is revieled it really gives it a great twist. All the characters fit their roles nicely making for a better manga.
I really like this maga and deffinatly recomend giving it a read. It was very good and it was good at captivating it's audience :)
