Due to family problems, Hirayama Hayaka transfers from a private high school to an industrial high school. However, upon entering the school, she finds out that there are 850 boys in the school, and that she is the only girl there. Apart from the great disparity between the number of boys and girls, she also finds out that gangsters still exist in this era. When I first read this mange, I loved it. There was just something about it's goofy comdey romance that appealed to me. Then I reread it. And I realised that it pretty much lacked a coherent story line, and the characters were not strong enough to pull it along.

The story is not unique - through the tricks and twists of fate, a formerly rich girl ends up at a normal school. Unfortunately, she is the only girl at this school. If that wasn't bad enough, she becomes the school gang leader.

It is pretty sweet and funny seeing how she becomes the gang leader, read more

Let me say this first, I don't like shoujo that much. But, I love adorable things. This is my second review, something happened to my first one, don't know what, so take it easy on me.

So far, (may contain spoilers?), it's basically the heroine conquering a bunch of delinquent schools. Not much difference in each chapter except how they conquer. It sounds like it's boring right? Surprisingly, I still liked it. Though the concept was the same, it didn't really feel like it was.

Like most people, I think, I usually use art as one of my reason wether I'd read the book or not. In read more

Manga: Oresama Teacher
Both female leads are the banchous (gang leaders) in their schools, but really just want to be normal girls. And both mangas are packed with comedy that will make you want to laugh.

Manga: Arakure
Well, when I read Dear School Gang Leader I immediately thought of Wild Ones because of the whole "girl being a leader" thing... Both girls are strong in their own way and they both have a guy protecting her... Although DSGL has more reverse harem than Arakure. Oh, and both are quite funny ^_^ If you liked one of them then you'll probably like the other one as well xD

Manga: Zero Count
The school setting in A!InB (or Dear, School Gang Leader) and Zero Count both have 95% boys. Both of the main protagonists are getting a lot of attention because they are girls and it was such a rare sight for them (boys). Nevertheless, there are still unmistakable difference between the two. Like the social status for one. In DSGL, all of the students shown in the industrial school are poor whereas in ZC, they are all rich.

Manga: Ookamidomo no Shitsukekata
Both is about a school full of 'deliquents' and a girl who is the only girl in the whole school and the leader. And the male main Characters, both, seems to be bad, but they are very gentlel in their bottom of heart.

Manga: Saruyama!
Both heroine 'fell' from their 'throne' and became 'peasant' where they have to enrolled into a school that's beyond their expectations. But then, love happens~ :")

Manga: Rockin'★Heaven
The basic situation is the same; a girl transfers to what used to be an all boys school and gets stuck in a class full of delinquents, where she eventually earns the respect of all the guys in her class.
