Short, sweet, cute, and fun are the words to describe this manga. Clamp does it again with a simple plot, and yet their characters are what truly engage us. The three boys that make up the elementary school board are so adorable! From the shy, and sweet Akira, the serious and quiet Suoh, to the cordial and somewhat eccentric Nokoru. Each of them possesses a character quality that makes them lovable. For newcomer Clamp fans this would be a good series to pick up and look into it.
The manga styling is cute, and very much like Magic Knight Rayearth. The panel layouts are good, and nothing looks jumbled. The dialog is witty and easy for some who is say 12 to still understand. All in all a keeper, and it's fairly short to so no need to worry about epics!

If you enjoyed 'CLAMP School Detectives', you'll enjoy 'Ouran High School Host Club'.
In both stories you deal with comedy and romance, and the characters a very alike. In both you find a cute (and somewhat clueless) kid, the handsome leader, and a smart, cool 'secretary'.
Though 'Ouran High School Host Club' doesn't deal with detective work, it deals with the main idea of 'CLAMP School Detectives': Helping females (in their own different ways...)
Even though, the genre is quite different, both manga involves school clubs (council in the Clamp Gakuen) and bishounens, who encounters different situations (mostly comedy).

Like mystery storys? Then you'll enjoy both Detective Conan and Clamp School Deectives.
Follow these boys as the locate clues and use their noodles to uncover the mystery and discover the culprit!
The fact that both these series are detective series is a reason why you should read this after that. But not really. Although both have several similar genre's, Detective Conan deals with mature and eerie cases, while Clamp School Detectives .. are School detectives. The levels of both series are a huge difference, tho', some cases might look (or are) almost the same.
