I couldn't stand this series, even in animated form it was just disgusting.

If it wasn't for the fact that I hate dropping series now that I have internet, I would have dropped this easily. The violence wasn't even clever, just mindless.

This series was great. So funny. Lots of random violence is a plus

I have mixed feelings about the series. It could be funny and points out to society's cruelty and hypocrisy at times, but at others it's quite tasteless.

And wow, the author did love the cannibal-Butaro-getting- eaten running gag, didn't she? And man, was the animal sex really necessary at the end of ep 4 >_>

That was horrible and pointless.

I love gore and black humor, but here it was just witless. The "critical hints" were not existent, they just showed the problem, such as discrimination of pigs, but didn't solve the problem. Not funny, not shocking, just useless. I'm really disappointed watching this after "Cat Soup" that actually was great.

This was black humor at its maximum expression, and I love it as much I hate "open minded" society this days, you damn pigs. The best part of all of this is that life is even worse than all the stuff that happened in this anime. It was so much fun.

And they said that South Park and Family Guy were offensive and violent... xD

PD: The really dark part is that the author committed suicide the year before this were made into an anime.

I enjoy a good peek at the darker side of humanity, especially when someone manages to deliver it well in animated form. I picked up this show hoping for something along those lines but the comedy seemed overused and the show oozes crudeness from every orifice.

I was pretty disappointed overall but due to how little time it takes to watch I'd still say it's just about worth it.

I didn't find it funny, sometimes it was just dark and twisted. the way they made the pig eat his brother. what? it's just pointless and meaningless violence. not funny at all. but I did like some aspects of it. like how the cats were psychos and racists, but most of the time I was like WTF? I gave it a 6.

Vomit/fecals humour is poor.

for fans of nekojiru, i highly recommend looking up the artist Joan Cornella. you will not be disappointed

There's no similarity between their works.
That guy works on gag comedies you find on the internet everyday.

And still, Bill will live on.
He will befriend the next inhabitants of the earth, beings of light who revere him as a god.
And Bill will outlive them all... for millions and millions of years...exploring, learning, living,
until the earth is swallowed beneath his feet.
Until the sun is long since gone.
Until time loses all meaning and the moment comes that he knows only the positions of the stars
and sees them whether his eyes are closed or open.
Until he forgets his name and the place where he'd once come from.
He lives and he lives until all of the lights go out.

You dont need to "solve a problem" to show humanity cruelty or do a cynical satire on it, dont hide your inability to differentiate reality from fiction and thus your hate for anything dark with lies and an understanding of critique thats clearly on pair with a fanfic writer as the solving commentary exposed.

Also the ova replicates an entirely separate aspect of the original which was the author's LSD trips and dreams before the author killed herself, which is why it didnt had the extreme violence, in fact the manga is way more crude and mean, have the cats be actual psychos instead of just unaware like here, and actually have them hurting real animals instead of antropomorphic ones in clearly absurd ways in the anime, the latter wich only kids with no grasp of real or fake and mal users who cant deal with anything heavier than carebears would care as its all way too absurd to even relate to reality (which makes it really worrisome that someone is detached and unstable enough to be offended by it)

Well, that was that. I liked this anime a lot lol.

Maybe I will say 8/10 it's pretty dumb but not that bad.

When this Anime takes a Dark turn, it never looks back.
Shocking and really funny.
Dark humor at it's best.
