"People should appreciate Season 2 more. At first, I didn't care for the ending myself, but I later appreciated it more. Hei killed even though he hated it, loses himself, but manages to get it together on his journey with Suo, enjoying his final moment with someone he loves before his self-sacrifice for the greater good of the world. How selfless is that? Comparing Season 1 to Season 2, Hei matured and became a better person. What a transformation. This anime is BADASS and profound."
