| I didn't vote. I wasn't sure if I should click on North America, South America or Europe... I'll explain: I was born in Canada, which makes me officially Canadian but my parents decided to move to Venezuela when I was eight months old (So I haven't been in Canada consciously, but it's always been my dream to go back). My parents are both Venezuelan which makes me a Venezuelan through heritage (which means I can never work for the government or become president of the country) and I lived there the first sixteen years of my life, plus two years while I was trying to study psychology. Due to my father's work, I moved to The Netherlands in 1999. I've been living here for almost 10 years (officially -since I did go back to Venezuela for two years), which means this year I get the chance to become Dutch. In short, officially Canadian (North America), genetically Venezuelan (South America), geographically Dutch (Europe). I am an outsider wherever I go, so I'm what people call "a citizen of the world". I'm afraid to admit, when I first moved to Europe most people thought Venezuela was somewhere in Africa too. It's thanks to our big-mouth president people finally know it's a South American country. I had some neighbors who were kind enough, but thought Venezuela was a city of Brazil and talked to me in Portuguese the whole four months I lived there. |

I was curious as to where most people had voted, but I didn't want to chose a place myself, so I voted Antarctica. About traveling around: It has its good things (you learn a lot of different things) and its bad things (you don't belong anywhere and people don't consider you their equal). *Wizard, according to Terry Pratchett, comes from the etymology "wys arse".
