| I'm surprised that this club doesn't have any member cards. I was just looking over the general Clannad group and thought that they should have a Kyou Card. XD Anyways. If anyone is going to design some member cards here, make sure they're: 300 x 200 pixels |

| I think the issue really is permission. I can whip up more templates easily as well as you can I'm sure. The guy who started this topic (the creator of this club) hasn't been logged on since may 15th. And I'm new to the club, so I have no idea if the officers have had a chance to look at any changes to this thread and make their comments. |

That is the truth. I have 2 provincials and 1 cross exam for this month hence why i have been away for the month. I have one more provincial to do before i resume activity in MAL. |

| Okay, to help facilitate where this thread is going. If this club wants to have Member Cards, 3 things need to occur: 1. People need to volunteer to mark and distribute the cards. This is the boring, tedious part that nobody is willing to do. I will volunteer. If nobody else steps up to help me, then forget about this idea entirely. 2. Card Distributors need admin rights. As far as I know, the only person able to give admin rights to others is Sabaa. 3. Template Designs need to be created and given to all card distributors. Distributors should be able to mark all of the different design templates, so that one person who is sick or busy doesn't stop the distribution. If nobody else is willing to do the grunt work, then this discussion is pointless. There are plenty of people able to make designs. That is NOT an issue. The problem is nobody is willing to do #1. |

| its not really i dont wanna do it but there are 2 problems: 1. people mess with the member card request thread sometimes and just makes it so annoying that it gets confusing for the people making it 2. i dont know when im able to take the cards off my photobucket because when i do i get someone saying that they havent saved it yet and then i have to make the card again which is really annoying... these 2 things arent a problem then i dont mind doing this but it usually is... |
| Yeah, basically putting people's names on the templates they request. And then sending it to their profiles. It's really mindless boring work, but somebody other than me has gotta pitch in some time. |
| I'm not talking about you Vivio, or anybody specific for that matter. I'm just saying that anybody willing to help would be appreciated if you want to see this idea come to fruition. Issue #1 is unavoidable, cause people always have trouble counting for some reason. For issue #2, I would create a new photobucket account specifically for member card distribution and never delete anything. If photobucket decides one day to delete the user account and people haven't saved and rehosted their images by then... tough luck. |

| sure ill help, but im going to malaysia on the 12th of july till the 17th so i might not be able to help for 5 days unless they've got internet at the hotel... (if we are even able to begin at that point) |
| It's not a problem. If you could dedicate an hour a week or something like that, it should be good enough. I also do club cards for the Rosario + Vampire club, and I only do them like once a week. In that club I only get about 15 requests per week though. I expect this club to be a bit more demanding, hence the need for helpers. If all 3 of us did 15 club cards per week, for a total of 45 per week, it would be pretty easy to do this club as well. And of course, others can pick up the slack where you left off. It's not a job, but you know.. help out is all. |
| wow... i usually just do the ones i get that day since its easier for the uploading cos its kinda slow... i use to help out if the SnS cards but i got busy with some personal stuff... only problem is that my home doesnt have wireless so i have to make it on my mac the memory stick it to my PC then upload it... |
| That sounds like a pain, and even more of a reason to do big batches at a time instead of frequently. Also the bulk uploader feature in photobucket makes it really fast and easy for me. I just point it to the folder where the images are stored, and then hit select all.. and all of them are uploaded at once. Another thing is that I name the files with a member number first so that they are all in sequential order. This makes linking them very fast as well. For instance... 234VivioTakamachi.png and 235Sakurei.png. This way everything is kept in order. |

| btw with which cards will we go? with mimi-tan's? because my skills with photoshop and stuff is close to zero, putting in letters and numbers is close to my limit, so it'd be advantageous for me when the background of the no. and names are not "fused" with the pic itself...D: I need a single color to write the stuff down, which would be the case in mimi-tan's cards xD |
