Who is your favorite playable Chrono Trigger character?
| So who is your favorite playable character from Chrono Trigger? You can base it on personality, strength, techs, whatever. It really is a hard decision for me, since all of the characters are deep and pretty dang awesome. In the end, Frog is my favorite character (with Magus falling short by an inch). I mean, come on, who doesn't like a heroic knight, completely dedicated to honor, his queen, and his friends? The invasion of Magus' Castle was one of the highlights of the entire game, as were the Masamune and Cyrus side-stories. And you can't deny that his theme song and his speech are just plain cool. Magus I liked for his subtle wit, sweet theme song, and ultra-powerful magic. I also liked some of the non-playable characters: Schala, Toma, Tata, Cyrus, Melchior, and Dalton. |
| Schala was my favorite NPC. But let's see...I liked Ayla a lot. Besides the fact that she has a cool name (I'm a sucker for strange names, especially with the way they're spelled), but she's also a powerhouse and I love the way she sometimes 'flies' when she attacks, depending on how far away she's from the enemy. -AtaraxiA- said: Magus I liked for his subtle wit, sweet theme song, and ultra-powerful magic. | Yup yup. Pretty much my team was always Crono, Frog, and Magus. Luminaire and Dark Matter would destroy everything, and Frog would just kill stuff with the Masamune. crowslayer91 said: magusmagusmagus =]&for all of you who defeated him in battle instead of having him join your group.. ohhh how i pity thee u.u If you're a Frog fan, though, you should defeat Magus at least once in new game plus. Frog gets a cool ending that way. |

| Crono & Magus. Can't choose between them, though. :( Both have sweet theme song (Magus wins though), great magic (Luminaire FTW) and are just plain badass. :D |
| My favorite character out of the entire game and one of my favorites of ALL TIME EVER is Schala!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! But out of playable characters I love Marle! Healer. Princess. Spunky. Archer! Yay! |

| My favorite is Magus, I love his story, it's the best character background stories in the game in my opinion. Pretty blue hair and his personality are a big plus too. My second favorite is Lucca, because geniuses are cool. :D |

| My vote goes to Crono. He's just too cute and nice. ^^ I also really love Marle though. Definitely my second fave. After that, JOHNNY! Seriously. Robo gang Johnny is totally awesome. Then Lucca then everybody else. XD |

| Ayla does the most damage in the game via point strike(I believe her critical attack is called this when she does 9999 damage) She doesn't need a weapon. Has an attack to hit all enemies to deal massive damage. Has kiss(heal). Whereas everyone else needs teamwork to deal even 1/3 the damage. Chrono was my second favorite. The silent protagonist does talk in one of the endings. |
| Crono because I like silent protagonists, and he still has a likable personality despite that. Good design. Very well-rounded with strong physical attacks and very strong magic attacks at the same time. Luminare is most definitely my favorite magic attack in any game. Plus tons of sentimental reasons, but that's another thing. Oh, and his theme music is ace. |
