| To be honest, I think Maya of Tenjho Tenge got me through most of the series. I'm not fond of bloody brawls and fanservice, so it's really amazing that I even finished that anime. I got even more hooked when I learned about her history with Mitsuomi. As for recent anime, I guess this happened with Nagi no Asukara. I had little to no expectations for it at first. I stayed because of Chisaki (I could relate with her.). Then again, this changed after a while and I grew to love the series. |
