Yes I heard about that. Would be excited, but I already bought the game not too long ago. Wish I would have waited now. ._. Up for a game when it comes out? I haven't gotten that far into it, so we can have fun making it to the end.

That would be nice, although I haven't seen the second season, based on what I have seen of the first, I gotta say they don't really seem to care about any kind of involving story. I think most of it is just played for laughs. Kinda like Azumanga Diaoh, just not nearly as weird. It's kinda one of those anime that's like: "She's a squid in human form, she wants to conquer the world, funny stuff happens along the way, yeah you get it." Though I certainly wouldn't mind an explanation there still.

Hmmm well slice of life and comedy are my all time favorites, but as for "themes" yeah I would say that is a fair guess.

Ah so you watched it when it aired huh? Lucky you, I remember seeing it in the current anime line up for the season back then, and really wanted to watch it. However I got sidetracked by other anime and never did. Late to the party as usual I guess. ._.

Based on what you're telling me, it seems similar to another title called "Kannagi." It started to tell a story but then decided to throw it all away for the sake of humor. XD

It wasn't great in my opinion, but I did like it enough to take a peek at another season. By the way there has always been something that really bothered me about the anime. Just how did Squid Girl take human form anyway? That was never explained, she kinda just...did.

Oh yeah those professor guys? Hilarious man. I still have to watch the second season. Although I been hearing good things about it, they also say it's not as good as the first season. What do you say?

Oh bummer bro, but hey, school is more important so trust me, you'll make up for it in no time. Honestly the only reason I wanted a Wii U was for Sonic Boom, however lately I have been finding many other good games on there, and you can't go wrong with the classic downloads.

Dude same here! I only used my 360 to watch DVDs as well. The only game I was ever really dedicated to on the system was Blue Dragon, I could play that game for hours at a time.

Off topic, but I noticed you had "Ika Musume" as a favorite character, does this mean you were a big fan of the anime?

I wish you had a Wii U, I recently got one, and although you can make Nintendo Network IDs on a 3DS, you can add anybody using them, still only friendcodes. :/

Since I usually try to avoid looking up spoiler info to games I want to buy I am curious, does Tales of Xillia 2 feature any of the past characters and story plot? Or is it a whole new adventure? I assume it has to have some relation otherwise they would have just made a completely new Tales from scratch.

Interesting, so the series has evolved since those days, I figured as much. Even though I never played it, I do remember hearing that the first Tales game was kinda frustrating due to it's difficulty.

Now since you are an experienced Tales fan I am curious, how does it hold up these days? I know it's your favorite, but objectively speaking, does the first Tales feel dated at all compared to newer releases?

I heard Tales of Destiny 2 was really good. It was on the PS1 and from what I hear, goes for high prices these days.

I will admit that you got a point there, from what I have played I don't really feel a strong bond between them. Though I was hoping that would get better as the game went on. Oh well... So what's your favorite Tales game of all?

I am playing Tales of Xillia currently on hard mode, and I will admit the regular enemies are easy, but the bosses are pretty challenging. I beat the first boss with no problem, but the second one keeps killing my party (the big fat dude). Maybe I just needed to level up my party more. Honestly I would have killed him, but he keeps infinitely summoning alleys. So annoying.

Fair enough bro, I know the game isn't for everyone. I have Dragons Crown, and the game is super fun with good characters and fun combat. Only thing I don't like about the online is, there is no voice chat for the PS3 version, only the Vita.
