| Because it's shit. Edit: On a serious note, Haruhi was obnoxious and bossy. Yuki was soulless, and the other girl was as memorable as a rock, same with the other guy. Kyon was decent. A little note is how bullshit the plot was "She's God, so we have to play baseball" was pretty much how an episode went, I shit you not. |

If you find yourself feeling a strong dislike towards a character because of their personality, that's a sign of a good character; I don't really see any reason to bitch about it, not that I've seen much bitching during my time here. I've seen more of your crappy threads than people expressing their dislike for Haruhi. Oh and if you've seen the movie, Yuki is definitely the deuteragonist. |

| Did you come across this hate in the Haruhi section of MAL or something because this is the first I've heard the MAL community leaning towards anti Haruhi-ism. I don't feel people resent the character herself but more so what happened in S2. Besides, I don't see any legitimate reason to attack her character other then superficial nitpicking. |

| It's no wonder how many people dislike Haruhi, even though I don't, it became obvious why she's a love or hate kind of character, and I understand why. Until I met everyone's favorite little sister: Kousaka Kirino. The most annoying and ungrateful bitch I've ever seen in anime. Compared to her, Haruhi is an angel. OP, I wouldn't pay much attention to these rumours. After all, Haruhi has been favorited over 11k times as a character, and that's a pretty significant amount here in MAL despite the popularity that the Haruhi franchuse has. |
