| Prosopagnosia - a disorder of face perception where the ability to recognize faces is impaired, while the ability to recognize other objects may be relatively intact. I have finished watching this series and i thought it was pretty good even though i don't get this much drawn in into this kind of genre. One thing that intrigued me was Yasuna's symptoms and how close it came to the syndrome prosopagnosia. + Yasuna's androphobia - fear/hatred of men - seem to have something to do with her not being able to see males. |
| I think it's a plausible link to make. It could be that Prosopagnosia was part of the reason that Yasuna felt alienated with men and was more attracted to women since she could recognize their faces easier. I think this may have been the case since it did seem to hit out of the blue in the story. |
