Oh man, I am having a tough time deciding! 1, 12, maybe 13 .........

Wow I am surprised that my pick isn't even in the top 5!
Maybe because I read ahead into the LN, and I found that his very first monologue in episode one persisted throughout the story the most ("Youth is a lie.") so I went with that one.
Before even reading the options, I instantly decided on picking the "I'll do things my way." one if it was on here... But because I smiled after recalling that "Youth is a lie." was the essay that placed him into Yukino's club in the first place and that it was our introduction to Hikki, it won in the end :)

#5 for me. Although I do like all of his quotes and consider him a role model. This quote stuck with me the most.after all, expecting things from nice girls will eventually get you hurt in one way or another, because they are just being nice, it's not like they like you or anything.

EP6 - "You can't reset your life but you can reset your relationships" is my favorite.

also, that "I hate nice girls"... double standard at its finest (I will agree that the rest of the monologue was pretty spot on, but I dislike how it only refers to girls)

He only referred to girls as in the past he thought a girl who was nice to him actually liked him so he went with it and got humiliated.He then learned that nice girls are nice to everyone and can be misleading to guys.
Males on the other hand mostly only treat the ones they like nicely.

The "I hate nice girls" was the quote that actually caused me to grow interest in this mind-blowing anime after a very 'not mind-blowing' start. However judging by individual quotes... im sorry but god of a new world was just too epic

Episode 8's monologue.
I related to these exact thoughts when I was younger, and it reminded me of Kanye West's album: The College Dropout, which did focus on that specific theme. The fact that society manipulates you into what the world wants you to be.

Kanye West carved his own path, not the one society carved out for him and he was known as the rebel in the group Child Rebel Soldier (Consisted of Lupe), Pharrell and Kanye). He ultimately became the god of his own world in a sense.
