I've been here several times before and this is the first time it's happened. I've had three warnings so far from my antivirus program in the last 2 minutes and I thought I'd better tell you this is happening.

Here are two screenshots of the warnings including the pages I was on when the connections were blocked:

http://prntscr.com/1bos87

What's happening? Are these false alarms or legitimate?

EDIT: Each refresh of this page gets a new warning as well.
EDIT 2: Alright, this is happening with fanfiction.net too. May be a problem with just me.

Yup. That's a false positive - in other words, the antivirus is dumb...

The jquery shouldn't have virus problems, especially seeing that it's imported from the google cache.

Did you have this problem before? Or did it appear after the latest update? Did it get fixed in the meantime? Avast Free doesn't give that error, so I find everything peculiar.

Most likely the recent update picked up jQuery (and maybe anything hosted on the google servers) as false positive.

I don't recommend disabling your antivirus, so you might have to put up with any messages it has until they (the Avast team) make a fix for it.
