| This was painfully depressing. I guess that car dumpster was more or less a time machine in some way. It's harsh to think that our dreams will probably never come true and then face that reality. I liked the greater meaning in this story. It's barely set in Tokyo, but it just draws the comparison between the life in smaller towns: mundane and boring, but meaningful, and life in a metropolis like Tokyo: interesting, but you're one insignificant being among millions who share the same frustrations. |
