But I think I'm getting a hang of it. | Hmm well I've been in the club for awhile now but never posted an introduction, so hello everyone! I'm ShikariSLD and I'm a student (well it's summer now) living in Canada. I consider myself pretty laid back, and I like making new friends so feel free to talk to me if you'd like. Unlike I'm sure a lot of you guys, I actually don't spend that much time watching anime/reading manga. My time is spread fairly thin with school and work, and my free time mostly goes towards my bigger "hobby" which is video games. But that being said, I do love watching/reading good series that people recommend to me and love discussing them, which is why I go on MAL :P Things I like include video games, music, anime/manga, cold weather and peanut butter. Things I don't like include hot weather, loud people, people who walk slowly in crowded areas, and spiders. When my head's not deep in my college homework, I watch anime, play video games, listen to music (rap, rock or anime/VG music), and watch/play sports. Ok not really, I say that's what I do, but what I really do when I'm not doing homework is usually just sit in my room and do absolutely nothing. But I have a job so I'm not that much of a bum. I'll watch/play any kind of show/game, as long as its either REALLY good or not mainstream because I'm a hipster like that. Things I like: Stuff you've never heard of, doing absolutely nothing, anime/video games, tsunderes, the Miami Dolphins and Heat, pornhub, and Visual Novels. Things I don't like: Shows and games with terrible final bosses/endings, Shinji Matou, when people make me do things for them, Mass Effect, yaoi, and Drake. |

I would say I'm a big fan of anime but I'm not, at least not anymore as the majority of new series tend to be an almost complete copy of something else. However, I am a massive fan of One Piece, I collect the manga, anime, figures, posters and other little things like clocks and cups. Totally obsessed. Other anime I enjoy are Toriko, Steins;Gate, Uchuu Kyoudai, Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood, Kaiji, Death Note, Kimi ni Todoke and the recent Shingeki no Kyojin. I'm into reading novels and also writing, I'm aiming to become a published author. I mainly write fantasy and science-fiction but strangely, while I'm not a horror fan, I seem to have a lot of ideas for that genre, and a few for other genres. My other hobbies are playing video games (mostly RPGs, Final Fantasy being the main series), watching TV shows (Falling Skies, Merlin, The Big Bang Theory and Once Upon a Time just to name a few), listening to music (Krypteria, Mayday Parade, Nickelback, Parachute, Skillet, Nobuo Uematsu OMG so many favourites!) and here is where I'm going to shut up lol. I play PS3 although I don't have any anime games jus COD and AC. All my anime games are on my laptop so I hope to have fun with everyone here. |

I have been watching anime for 3 years now.Still loving it.My entire list is almost all romance.Outside of watching anime or reading manga; i hang out with my friends and boyfriends, play ps3 games or play my ps2 games. i still have my ps2 sadly they stopped making them. I watch youtube videos of pewdiepie,cry, and im starting to get into tobuscus because of my boyfriend.I find running fun and i was in track of 4 years. Im in marching band now and in student council.I go on pewdiepie's forum and i roleplay there a lot.I hope to get along with all of you and im hoping we can have anime conversions maybe even make life long friends along the way. :) |
