| I guess pokemon was my first anime even if I didn't think of it as an anime. The first anime I watched to see if I liked anime was Akira... it failed hard. But then I saw 5 cm per second and just loved the art so I kinda became a fan of anime from that even if I didn't like the story that much (mainly because all japanese names became so confusing and I dind't even understand it was the same guy in all 3 parts -.-) |

| First anime was the 4Kids dub of Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters. I remember borrowing the same 3-episode disc from the library when I was (I think) still only a toddler. (Episodes 7-9 of Duelist Kingdom, especially 7 since I've been an ocean nerd since I can remember.) First anime outside of the kid-related shows was FMA on Netflix. That wasn't what got me to be a fan, actually. Fairy Tail takes the trophy for that. (Yes, I'm a youngster) |

| First anime I watched was etiher Yu-Gi-Oh, Shaman King or Pokemon. I really can't say since I was probably 3 when I started watching those. Anime that made me an anime fan is either Vampire Knight or Gosick. I think it was Vampire Knight. |
