Much like the previous arcs, GGO's adaptation is probably gonna be mediocre, if not bad. Still, I'll probably watch it to see how they visualize the fight scenes.

I think it`s pretty clear to everyone that GGO is going to be animated, much as the haters hate, the show is turning a tidy profit so (like every company with a success) they will keep SAO alive as long as they can, until they kill it because everyone gets tired of it.

Yeah GGO was pretty good, alot of people say it's their favorite, personally Mother's Rosario kicks its ass for me personally, and I did enjoy the first Novel more because of the premise.

I don't much about sword art online other than this anime, but I am assuming this arc introduces...guns? It seems really weird from the sword fighting in the past two arcs.

Honestly, i don't have a clue where the main "story" of Kirito is going. I guess that he just continues playing virtual reality games and beats them one after another (SAO - ALO - GGO?)

if i had it my way i would of made SAO a 30-100 episode series, removed the "100 levels" barrier and just made it an open world so that if I were the author, i would have much more freedom in where I would want them to go...Aaah, it seems SAO is the perfect anime for dreamers and the worst for realists.

Milking the cow seems a bit much, but yeah at this point SAO is an episodic series, with no overarching plot to it all. At least so it seems.

Well there is no plot plot anymore. ALO finished what SAO started and had a very appropriate ending for the series. And then...out of nowhere he continues it.

It's the equivalent of Luffy finding the one piece and becoming the king of pirates...and then watching him go on more adventures without anymore goal. (ok that's a bit extreme given one piece's length).

To me GGO is the worst arc of SAO LNs. The only good part about it is the new character, but other than that guns? Meh. What the order of arcs is for me: SAO > MR > Alicization > ALO > GGO.

That's fair, GGO didn't engage me in the story as much as the others did, the only reason it rates higher than ALO for me is because I just kinda thought that ALO was "I have no ideas for what they should do after SAO so I'll postpone thinking about it" and that annoyed me.

well it entirely depends on how much they did in advance, and how much they have accomplished in the months that it has been airing, for all we know, they have been working on this for years and might already be finishing up the GGO arc. I know there has been no formal announcement, but they could be doing what High School DXD did and announce it after the credits of the last episode. Although truth be told, because of the lack of formal announcement, the earliest we can expect it is spring 2013, So I guess you do have a point.

I just hope that GGO gets released soon. When I saw SAO air its first episode I thought it was going to be a lame and overused type of anime, until months past and I was bored and I saw that SAO was still airing so I decided to watch the anime, and I loved it. It certainly shocked me, and I can totally see the creators of the anime making more seasons because you can get a whole lot story out of this series, what shocked me even more is that the light novel is still on going. I am not going to read the light novel because I certainly don't won't to ruin the anime experience. I hope it still involves Kiriko and Asua as the main characters, with action and romance. :) Hoping to see them have a kid, forexample Clannad After Story. :D Now that would be something to see.

An advise as an LN reader.Read the novels.They are much better and if you really like KiritoxAsuna, their relationship is much better there.Although in GGO Asuna isnt an mc.

As for children most people speculate that they have at least 2 daughters, with very good reason :-)

I am going to risk my nerves by having high hopes for the next arc of SAO.
Even if this new arc was 50-50 for the readers of light novel, it might turn out better with the anime. They can always introduce small changes to make to story more attractive...
But unfortunately, there is no Santa, there are no unicorns and the 21.12.2012. is nigh...

Art should be left alone by those unenlightened, raw and uncensored as it is, because enough refinement was already done by it's creator, in it's creation.

I would mind GGO less if it had a different cast of characters altogether (kinda like the way JOJO does things)...I just thought ALO was a perfect stopping point for Kirito's journey.

It's a simple fact, anything which is popular, and by the demand of a majority of reader/audience, they will be continued.

I'd say that Naruto won't be ended soon, even in the next several years, cause its popularity is somewhat still high.

It's a simple fact, anything which is popular, and by the demand of a majority of reader/audience, they will be continued.

I'd say that Naruto won't be ended soon, even in the next several years, cause its popularity is somewhat still high.

Not saying it's not making him money, just wish he could've approached it a different way (possibly by just flat out making shinon the new main character and have Kirito be absent or a side character). You know kinda pull the star trek thing of having multiple generations in the same universe. I can't imagine the novels were popular solely because of Kirito.

Actually, the original ending was right after volume 1 (when Kirito wakes up in the hospital). He continued writing it for free for fun.

well in that case, id have prefer it they made a 100 episode series of kirito's floor clearing, not jumping like 1st floor boss.. 2 months later.. 45th floor boss.
