| I don't know about you, but next to Ghost Stories, this is one of the best examples for redoing the script for the english dub. It loosely follows the original script but all the songs and most of the jokes are just that much funnier when its adjusted toward an adult audience. Anyways i just bought the DVD today since I absolutely love this show ever since i watched this anime from Anime Network. And for $21 for the whole series is such an awesome deal. I really REALLY recommended this show for anyone who enjoys a good comedy and a great deal. ...also its impossible to find a torrent for this show. |

| if I can find a cheap boxset I'd grab this anime. I don't want to watch the jap version but I might, just to see how it plays out before I get the dub version. Impossible to find a stream for it in the dub version, they really did crack down on sites hosting the dub anime. but it seems like a nice random comedy like excel saga, Abenobashi, sgt frog, school rumble and cromartie high |

| Since this show is a musical comedy subtitles are uncommonly weak at conveying the humor so a more loose dub makes a lot of sense. That said, the dub doesn't succeed as consistently as I'd like. It succeeds more than it fails but it needed more work put into it that ADV may not have been at liberty to spend. |
