BTW Air had some light nudity blanked and more so in the movie or OVAs IMO. Well in the past flashback.

Clannad and Kanon 2006 are the real deals with no ecchi.

Saw this, so at this point, is it actually quite possible for Nisemonogatari to beat Bakemonogatari's week 1 sales records (Which were later shattered by Madoka.)? IIRC, each volume broke sales records until volume 6 (The final one.) had like 51,000 in week 1.

Also, how is Guilty Crown Volume 2, along with Guilty Crown Volume 3 looking? I'm very interested in seeing if this will flop or not. It'll be hilarious if Volume 2 sells half of what Volume 1 sold. The reviews are all over the map on Amazon Japan. It's fun using Google translate (Even though it kinda sucks at translating coherently.) and seeing what all the otaku unhappy with the show are saying.

With the Bleach anime ending, and how the series has been having declining ratings and manga sales for years, do you have any idea how low the DVD's are now selling?

BTW, around when are you going to have another blog post at CSW on how certain shows are going to sell?

So I was looking at your post about sales and sale estimates on CSW, and I'm wondering, how does the stalker system work? Is each point basically one pre-order? I'm very interested in seeing how Fate/Zero and Nisemonogatari will sell in week 1. BTW, is Shana III at this point a failure in terms of sales for JC Staff (I can't remember the exact sales statistics off the top of my head.)? Not surprised if it it as season 3 is basically trash, and otaku probably aren't pleased with it.

Wow, thanks. It's really nice to hear someone actually read that thing and liked it. Air is really a great anime and has a lot of similarities with Clannad. And both of them have a lot of symbolism involved which makes them so much fun to actually analyze and interpret.

As far as I'm concerned the writer, Jun Maeda, has even stated that he's actually into stuff like allegories and such things. That makes it even more meaningful to actually think about the deeper themes and messages of his stories.

Well I just watched it and thought "Wow...this is just like Clannad."
And frankly, I liked Clannad better.
But I won't go as far as to say it was bad.
I just wasn't interested.

I just read your thoughts on Chaos;Head in the Steins;Gate discussion thread, and I just gotta say...we need to be friends, because those were my thoughts exactly.

Except that I am going to watch Steins;Gate in the hopes that the people who worked on Chaos;Head have learned their lesson and are planning to do it right this time.

I've changed the 'Best HTT Song' thread a bit. I've updated the song list. Now you can vote for all new songs from the Houkago Tea Time II album too, including Tenshi ni Fureta yo!

Therefor you can edit your top 10 if you like to change some songs, but only if you like them more of course.
