I swear i'm dying, i hate reading mangas but i have to read the manga of skip beat and damnnn it need a 2nd sesean and a 3rd season!!! this sucks i hope there will be a second season!! :(((((

I loved skip beat it was amazing to me. I finished the anime a while ago and have been wishing for more. I even bought some of the manga at anime North.

How can I help??? I've bought up to volume 27 (don't know how many chapters...) there is still going and I really, REALLY want a second season ;-; it's been a while since I've seen the anime, but I do remember the need to pull my hair out because of the ending!!! DX

From what I know, the manga has been selling well. Additionally, lots of series that had a single adaptation that aired years ago are getting sequels now, and lots of series that havent had adaptations at all yet were finished even more years ago are also getting those adaptations. Thus, Skip Beat has a high chance imo of getting a sequel. It's just about when. Could be 5 years from now.

I have been crying over the ending of skip beat s1 for about a year watched the season Twice... watched the drama...read the manga religiously cry when the manga doesn't release normaly (on time)....read Tokyo Crazy Paradise (written by same writer Nakamura Yoshiki [10 *'s btw really wish they would bring this one to life as well]) currently having withdrawals 😩

I just watch Skip Beat Season 1 recently and I found the story so interesting. I really like the story as well. Therefore, I am looking forward to the Skip Beat Season 2.

I had started reading manga in the place where the anime ended 3 years ago. Let me tell you something-I AM STARVING FOR SKIP BEAT SEASON 2 !!! The story deserves to have a second season. I hope someone in Japan will finally understand and start on making this dream reality.

2nding this about the other shows as well.
I'm SOOO mad that it had to end like this! I was so much looking forward to how their relationship develops and the conclusion to the dark moon subplot :(

The manga is amazing and still ongoing at least! I highly recommend reading it if you loved the anime, because the anime stuck to it so well it's like watching the manga come to life! I wish they could have kept the anime going with the manga like they do with Fairy Tail :(

really like this anime and the story..animation very good
why? becuz i never get bored when watch this anime over and over..and if they have season 2,. i will be really happy and willing to wait for them....

I would totally pledge to a kickstarter if that's what it took to get another season. I wonder what the reason was for not creating a second season. This is highly rated, has tons of source material (manga), and fairly popular for a shojo anime.

I would love to see a second season for this series as well but am glad that a dubbed version of season 1 is finally in the works. I love the subtitled version and the English voice cast sounds really good.

At this point I'm about 100% sure they absolutely won't make a second season, however, a reboot might be possible. Considering that the Fruits Basket reboot was (at least to my knowledge) a success, and since both Skip Beat! and FuruBa are some of the most popular manga serialized in Hana to Yume, I feel like making a reboot of the anime might not be that bad of an idea.

I think a season two is out of the picture, but a reboot might happen!! Although I hope so. The anime Fruits Basket has a reboot right now and that also was/is a popular romance anime from that time, both anime were very popular among the audience so I’m keeping my fingers crossed for a whole reboot!! Idk if the manga is already finished, but if it is, a reboot is likely to happen!!

It is a serious crying shame. I've re-watched this anime so many times I can't even count anymore. This story-line is just so heart wrenching and beautiful! They better come out with a season 2. It is LONGgggggggggggggggg Overdue people! I mean this is just killing me inside.. It cannot be that difficult to continue the story. it's anime community fault we are so much into lewd and loli characters no studio is willing to take risk to produce some good anime.
This season we had redo of healer which is basically a hentai, number of ecchi shows are increasing they are complete sh*t.
Then we whine why we are not getting sequels

It is shocking to find how many people do not believe they can learn, and how many more believe learning to be difficult.
