| Hmm...not a bad show by any means, but it just didn't get my attention. Hopefully it will become more interesting. Gonna give it the old 3 episodes trial run. |

| What a delightful start. I love the simple, but appealing character designs, backround art and the laid back atmosphere. Haru still manages to bring some energy into the series which adds an amusing contrast to Yukis personality. |

| Oh this looks interesting. Yuki's face changes whenever he's panicking and his grandma looks younger! I wonder why she let Haru stayed at their place? The opening song is great as well. |

| I'm not completey sold, but enough so to keep watching. I like the setting a lot. The art has a certain charm, although I much prefer the background art to the way the characters are drawn - the former is quirky, the latter just look low quality to me. The soundtrack is pleasant too. |

| Really pretty artstyle, I should say. The style used for the fishing shop reminded my of Kuuchuu Buranko, because it resembled real footage a lot. Also I should note that Kenji Nakamura really uses many recurring seiyuus in his shows! It's interesting that Yuki, Haru, and Natsuki are all female names and together with Akira (that Indian guy with a goose) they represent four seasons of the year: YUKI - means snow, i.e. winter HARU - means Spring NATSUki - has Summer as the first kanji in the name AKIra - has the Autumn part Nice catch! This episode had quite a lot of "jump" cuts that seem to be a feature of Nakamura's direction, but they didn't feel forced or out of place because they were often predated by closing eyes. And even when they didn't, the pacing felt good. Haru has weird triangles appearing on his head, and his sister fish is probably related to the goddess in the prologue. |

| Very well done first episode. It felt like not alot happened this episode yet at the same time alot sort of did. It did a good job at getting interested in it's characters quickly too. Yuki seem very introverted, meanwhile Haru is very extroverted. I can already kind of see where this might go narratively and kind of hope it does. Idk how supernatural it'll get with it's "save the world" plotline but at the very least, this show has managed to win me over with this episode. |
| So Yuki has severe social anxiety and Haru is a an alien. Glasses-kun seems like you're typical anti-social archetype and there's also a turban wearing spy. His grandma is kinda hot but is also extremely chill, almost irresponsibly so. I did think this episode was kind of funny actually. Also, is Haru's water gun some kind of hypnotic device ? It makes people blackout and presumably do what he tells them to do. It's probably going to be harmless but damn if that doesn't have some disturbing implications. Let's see where the rest of the series goes. |
