Mitsuki IMO is even worse than Sasuke. I mean, it could be argued that Orochimaru tricked Sasuke to following him, but Mitsuki acted on her own. (click to show/hide) She knowingly and willingly betrayed one of her best friends to get it on with Takayuki. Completely ignoring the fact that it was because of Haruka that she met Takayuki, or that her bond with Haruka was much older than Takayuki, she let her simple emotions get the best of her, and took advantage of Haruka's misfortune, hitting up Takayuki the first chance she could, and simply declaring that Haruka wasn't her friend anymore when Haruka came back. I don't care that she's been confused, you don't just jilt a friend like that. I liked her personality in the beginning but her selfish response to her best friend's circumstance just made me absolutely hate her. I mean, Haruka wasn't the most interesting of characters, but she was definitely admirable as she didn't hold any feelings of discontent after the whole situation, and chose the mature path, very unlike Mitsuki. I actually don't like most of the characters in KimiNozo anyway. Haruka's the only one I liked, but Mitsuki sticks out sorely as the worst one, not just in KimiNozo, but I think in all of anime that I've watched. Xinil said: I'm a Mitsuki fan all the way. | I personally think that Mitsuki should not be held accountable as a "traitor". Three years Haruka was in coma. Three years is more than enough time to have your BF taken from you. I don't care who you are, or what age you are. Unless you're married, the significant other is up for grabs. |
| well first it wasn't even three years later when she put the moves on Takayuki, it was one. even if that's long enough, even if that was all she did, but a lot of her other actions were simply disgusting. It definitely wasn't just the fact that she took Takayuki, that's somewhat understandable, but her whole attitude when Haruka came out of the coma. Takayuki was somewhat at fault to but I say 90% of the angst that happened in what was supposed to be a happy moment of a victim coming out of her coma was because of Mitsuki. Forbidding Takayuki to visit Haruka?! wtf?! "Haruka's not my best friend anymore"?! wtf?! Mitsuki intending to sleep with some random friends because she was bitching that Takayuki's visiting Haruka too much?! goddam! And look at this, what happened to that memorable pic of all four of them, as well as the memorable night on top of the hill. This is less Mitsuki's fault and more of all three, Takayuki and Shinji. I mean wtf, at the end only Haruka was at the top of that hill, remembering the times they had together. Everyone else just didn't seem to care. tats just bad I think. That's one of the reasons I liked Haruka too, she was loyal to the end, in stark contrast to most of the other characters. |
| Neither character would be on my list of favorite, but if I have to pick I would pick Haruka. Like what wildebeest0001 stated it is not the fact that Mitsuki moves on Takayuki while Haruka in a coma, but what she did after Haruka came out of the coma. |

| Alls fair in love and war. I think that's it. kei: she forbade Takayuki from visiting Haruka because Takayuki is an emotional bitch. He couldn't figure out shit throughout those three years. We obviously know he was confused and nearly had sex with a girl that weighs 70lbs in a patient gown. Wtf much? Mitsuki was doing what she thought was necessary to keep Takayuki around, I don't blame her for it. If my GF was that screwed up, but I loved her, I'm sure I'd have done something similar (though I'd probably have ditched someone that mentally unstable). Mitsuki sleeping with Shinji was definitely the thing that pissed me off the most in the series. Mitsuki loses a lot of points for that, but she seems genuinely appalled and regretful of her behavior after. So, out of the dog house. |

| I think she's like ninensei or sanensei? That's more than old enough for me lol. Either way I think after the accident she winds up being the same age as Mitsuki and Haruka before. Xinil: LOL i think the almost sex with bedridden Haruka was just homage to the original eroge. anyway, the way I remember the story, it didn't seem to portray Mitsuki's forbidding as an act of goodwill. It definitely looked more like an act of selfishness and insane jealousy, and perhaps even a need to control her BF when she was feeling insecure. Even if this would have done Takayuki some good, I never got any hints that Mitsuki was acting more for Takayuki's general wellbeing rather than just keeping him close and under watch. and come on, sacrifice one friend for another? Who needed the most support at that point? Let's not forget that Haruka just came out of a coma, and mentally AND physically she was the weakest out of all of them. Mitsuki chose to abandon her and cared only about herself and Takayuki. Even Takayuki was better than that, despite his confusion he genuinely wanted to help all three girls (third being Akane) |
