Webiste with airing information: http://www.gundam-seed.net/ It's not just SEED in HD widescreen, there's also supposed to be redrawn scenes and some remixed music, enough to warrent a seperate MAL page from this one, IMO. If anyone knows how to get a page made, please let me know, thank you! |

| Noone knows how much new animation there will be until it airs. Which, I believe the first episode will stream online in the next day or two on Bandai Channel. EDIT: Actually, in less than 24 hours. EDIT2: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vZAJG7jkZy8 OP has some changes, but song is the same. ED is a new mix, called "Anna ni issho datta no ni ~ReTracks". Still watching to see if there are any other notable changes. |

| I'm not sure if this was the right place to say, but anyway... I only see little differences with the HD remaster. Of course I wouldn't see major differences from this and the first, but I'm quite disappointed about what series they decided to remaster. They could have picked the very first series, MS Gundam 0079. Being remastered in HD would make Gundam fans crap their pants to see the original series in some awesome modern graphics, at least close to how Gundam 00 series was animated. Overall, bleh. Not sure if I would continue to rewatch the series since I got plenty of others to watch anyway. ~__~ |

SEED is currently being rereleased after a HD remastering project in honor if its 10th anniversary, some scenes are redrawn, effects such as beam weapon shots touched up for larger TV's (previously would be a couple of bars of solid color now have extra fine details and graduated color changes across the beam), some scenes are cropped for widescreen while others (like computer console displays of text or graphics) have extra detail added to the sides (such as the edges of the console itself) to make them into widescreen aspect without the console content loss which would occur from cropping.  |

| Well they kept the important parts from the recap episodes and removed the flashbacks of the next episode in order to make a single episode. The episode count just skipped over the recap one. so it went from 13 -> 15 directly |
