Do you realize that we, the GC haters, have pointed out A LOT of mistakes and errors to this show, but every time we did, none of you 'fans' came to back it up. When we accuse the show of something objectively retarded, you've got nothing to say, yet you only speak up by selectively pick out the weakest arguments that are usually subjective to one's opinions, like "Shu's a pussy". This isn't even a fragment of ALL THE FLAWS to this show. If you'd like, I can make a master list and shut you up once and for all. But, if I do prepare it, you'd have to argue for EVERY point on it. Are you up for the challenge? |

The sense of an anime is not pointing out every mistake. Very good animes have mistakes, too. I'm not a professional Reviewer. I just like and love the anime and seeing it's being disassembled like this. And it hurts seeing such opinions. If you don't like it, fine. But I seeing such comments every week, mostly from the same persons :0 |

Well for one, it shouldn't "hurt" to see opinions - everyone has them. There are countless anime that have good moments but are overall lacking to many. Anyone can like or dislike anything, they can come here or anywhere and make their feelings known. I think one thing that upsets people is that there was a lot of hype, a lot potential in the plot/artwork/etc. but it doesn't seem to be coming together in a cohesive manner. Many anime have plots that are woven together with hints and moments of foreshadowing (Penguindrum being the extreme example) and Guilty Crown seems to WANT to do that - but almost every episode comes across as completely independent of an overarching plot. Also, characterizations are not consistent in any way for many characters, they seems to flip-flop depending on the situation. Most of the characters are the definition of cliche and there is nothing wrong with that unless every single decision falls within the cliche - characters need to evolve and we have seen none of that. I want to like this, I really do but I just feel this would have sooo much more to offer if it was handled better. I don't know if it can be saved, even this early into its run, unless they give any sort of clues about Inori so we can understand a little more about her and Shu needs some consistency in his actions for just about anything. I'll still watch it as I rarely drop a show I've started, but I hope there is some growth at some point. Anime is meant for entertainment. If you like it, watch it - if you don't, don't. But don't get hurt by reading opinions for a cartoon on an internet forum. |

Oh what do you think I am? ÖÖ A group leader of the GC fans? I can't tell them: Go and defense Guilty Crown and tell them your opinion. I write everytime my opinion. I just love this Anime. And I like it not because I'm stupid öÖ Because i just like it. Of course, Guilty Crown has weak parts. I just wanted to say, that the people can't watch it, without pointing out the mistakes. What about just relax and watch it? If it's so bullshit, why so many people like it? :x Every person has it own opinion. I just hate it, when I see, that the pointed out the mistake A, B , C and after I wrote something (like Shu is for me NOT a pussy, with good reasons :0) nobody answered. @InoriYuzuriha "I love Guilty Crown, I loved this episode, I just love this Anime. And I like it not because I'm stupid öÖ Because i just like it, I love the art / music." Bad sides: -script -plot, where? Going nowhere -fight plans and tactics are based to luck and Gai's prophet-like powers (e.g. episode 7, student council bitch on the boat, not a single doubt that she wouldn't be there, yet everyone would have died without her being there) -because of the setting, there is no change that everything wouldn't be okay in the end, there is no excitement -characters don't have actual personalities -characters don't have motives -Inori is completely different "character" every time she appears -in the end, all the characters are bad -there is no actual character development -fanservice (Inori is not wearing an outfit, that's sex toy) -action is stupid (read rori's review for list) -direction is bad and contains fails/errors (same as above) -overall execution is not well done -epitome of unoriginality -tries to be serious revolutionary, action, sci-fi, in reality it's ecchi, harem Good sides: -Inori is hot -Art is fabulous -Sounds -Episodes' pace is good -Some parts of the dialog If it makes you happy then it's okay, but think about it. |

Karhu said: @InoriYuzuriha "I love Guilty Crown, I loved this episode, I just love this Anime. I can see what you mean. But I will wait till it's over. You will never know, what they will do in the last episodes. They're at least 14 left! More episodes, than some passed animes had. |

More episodes, than some passed animes had. It's all well and good to say to wait until the end. But the fact of the matter is, we're already 8 episodes in (over a third of the way done). Waiting for the end for these things to be fixed would be far too late. Fact: You can't wait 'til the end to show that your series does, in fact, have an overarching plot. Fact: You can't wait 'til the end to explain every plot-critical detail. Fact: You can't wait 'til the end to make your characters consistent. Fact: You can't wait 'til the end reveal characters motivations for their actions over the past ~20 episodes. Fact: You can't wait 'til the end to fix bad characters. Fact: You can't wait 'til the end to fix how the series was executed. |

They give us so many cute and little things...so only attentive watchers can notice it. My eyes are clearly opened, and I see nothing but cliches. Watch more anime and you'll see that Guilty Crown isn't the "hot shit" you thought it was to be. And if you mean "cute" by fanservice, then you disgust me. |

No, because after you watch an episode then you can actually talk about the shit that actually happened, rather than just call it shit for no reason. |
